Timeshares By Owner RIPOFF RIPOFF RIPOFF DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY Orlando, Florida |
8th of May, 2011 by User380439 |
I was contacted by this company to advertise rental for my timeshare. I was very suspicious at first but over time I softened and allowed the con artist to covince me to advertise with the. He even used the old trick of talking with "The manager" to lower the price from $599. They really contacted me at the most inopportune time or I think I would not have fell for the sales pitch. We were promised to have our timeshare rented by the weekend (New Years weekend) because there was a high demand. Needless to say we never heard from anyone and it is now almost 5 months later and nothing. This company is a total RIPOFF. |

I am the CEO of Timeshares By Owner and want to address this complaint. We transmit millions of dollars of rental offers for our clients every month. I am sorry that yours was not one of them. It is true that New Years weekend is a very high demand weekend. The reason for this is that people want to travel and stay at condo/timeshare accommodations with their family then.
Not every resale/advertising company is a ripoff. TSBO spends alot of money generating offers to it clients every month. We primarily do this with "pay per click" advertising in Google, Yahoo, and Bing. We find that internet advertising is the most focused and effective in generating offers to our clinets. We also have our own radio show broadcast in Florida, Atlanta, Boston, Washington DC, and New York State. We advertise on billboards and the New York Times Travel Magazine.
We don's spend any money in our very substantial advertising budget trying to find advertisers for us. All of the money goes toward generating sales and rental offers to our clients.
If you are unhappy, please call Kevin White, our Customer Service Director, at 888-707-8463. We have programs that will make you happy for no additional charge.
Very truly yours
Jeffrey W. Frantz, CEO |
