Time Warner Cable Criminals! Impossible to communicate! Cleveland, Ohio

We have TV cable access and internet access with TW. All summer we've had nothing but problems with the TV service (freezing, digitized picture, no access to channels we supposedly have). We've called for service 3 times since the beginning of summer. Each time a service person has come, they know nothing about our problem - once the man was supposed to bring a new modem, and arrived without any knowledge of this whatsoever. It's like they don't communicate. We just want out of the TV service, and to keep the internet service (only because there is not much choice). Apparently we are locked into a 2 year contract, and if we were to downgrade to just the internet service there is a fee - I've gotten different amounts from different employees. These people are impossible to deal with. I just want out of the TV part of the contract with no fee, and they will not do it, even though I've pointed out to them several times that they are not providing the service they promise in the contract. They keep saying they will send yet another person to fix the problem. I do not have the time nor the patience for a fourth service call with someone who will, with no doubt, arrive at the house not knowing why and leave with the problem not yet fixed. They tell me I cannnot get out of this contract because they are willing to send another person to fix it. I think three times is more than enough chances. I just want out without being billed a fee. I would suggest never dealing with this company, and as soon as possible I am going to be long gone. And yes, as I've read in other reports here, I have been put on hold for more than 30 minutes. It's ridiculous. TO CHARGE A FEE TO GET OUT OF SOMETHING THAT WAS NEVER DELIVERED PROPERLY IN THE FIRST PLACE IS CRIMINAL.
