TicketLiquidator.com gives the impression it is a legit business. They have hefty markup on their tickets. They claim there is isn't any service fees and they add that on after you order. as well as an internet fee. I STRONGLY recommend that you buy your tickets elsewhere. When you call to complain they do nothing to help you. They lied to me , stating that there aren't additional fees but I was charged for them. Let the buyer beware! DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them without reading all the fine print! |

Hello! I am an employee of TL responding to the customer above. We're sorry for the customer's frustration in regards to the price of his or her tickets.
To start with, we at TL are a nationwide network through which independent companies resell tickets to popular entertainment events. We at TL do not directly own, price, or ship any of the tickets listed on our website, nor do we charge customers for orders. All those actions are in the capable hands of the vetted sellers who resell tickets through our marketplace. It's also important to note that the sellers on our exchange price their tickets independent of (ie: above or below) face value. The purpose of this is to keep event tickets on the market longer than they'd normally be available and to allow customers access to tickets that were never initially released to the public. (Please note that all the pricing disclosure is freely available on our website and advertised in numerous locations -- including above every event listing.)
In regards to the fee issue, the customer above claims that we don't advertise the service fee that we add to ticket orders -- but that's not quite accurate. We mention that there's a service fee in our FAQ, on our Feedback page, in our Glossary, and above every event listing in the "Lowdown." The service fee is also advertised twice during the checkout process (on two separate checkout pages) prior to order acceptance. (That's also true of the delivery fee for orders...) The service fee equals 18.5% of the total ticket price of an order and is the only part of the transaction that accrues to TL. It pays for website maintenance, billing security, customer support, and other such features.
Either way, we're sincerely sorry for the customer's unhappiness and would be happy to help out with a discount on any future order! All the customer has to do is reference this post and email [email protected]. |
