| I retained the Law office of Brett Margolin PC in April of 2009 to do a loan modification. I paid them $2500.oo They did nothing for me and i was denied by my bank on more than one occasions. They refuse to give me my money back and now they changed their name to Alarcon Law Group. I filed a small claims suite against the Law Office of Brett Margolin PC AKA Alarcon Law Group. The phone numbers are still the same. Their addresses are still the same and their staff remains the same. They are the same group of people doing the same scams to hard working people in need of help to save their homes. Alarcon Law Group turned around and file a counter suite against me for $5000.00 stating that i am costing them time and money by filing my suite for $2500.00 to get back my hard earned money. I havent gone to court as yet. Trust me people, they are the same people from the company was Global modification services to The Law Office of Brett Margolin and now Alarcon Law Group. They also stole $3000.00 from a friend of mine whom i recommended to them the same time i signed up with them. He is also suing them as well. |

| DO NOT TRUST ALARCON LAW GROUP. THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING ON MY CASE, AND THEY OBTAINED MY MONEY UNDER FALSE PRETENSE. I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS TO MAKE 3 PAYMENTS FOR MY MORTGAGE TO SHOW TO MY BANK THAT I WAS ABLE TO MAKE A PAYMENT. JOHN DESMOND PROMISED THAT THE LAW GROUP WOULD HELP ME GET THE MODIFICATION. I LATER VIEWED THE WEBSITE AFTER MY MODIFICATION DIDNT GO THROUGH THE 1ST TIME, AND I DIDNT GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER FROM MARIO PARALTO OR PJ WATSON ABOUT RETURNING MY MONEY, AND FROM WHAT I READ ON THE WEBSITE I UNKNOWINGLY PAID FOR A LAWYER TO ASSIST ME. HOWEVER, A LAWYER NEVER TALKED TO ME AT ANY TIME. I AM HIGHLY PISSED AND IF I HAD THE MONEY TO PAY FOR A LAWYER TO DO SOMETHING THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE FREE, I COULDVE MADE 3 MORTGAGE PAYMENTS. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT I NEED TO DO TO FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM. |

OK i work for Mr Alarcon. I am reading these complaints and they are all untrue. First off attorney Alarcon is very well respected in the suffolk county bar association. in fact he was part of a bar association panel this evening. Secondly, the Alarcon Law Group has nothing to do with the Law Office of Brett Margolin. In fact there was another post on the internet that attorney Alarcon himself responded to. When the law office of Brett Margolin closed their doors, Mr. Alarcon hired a few staff members who work in his office. Attorney Margolin's clients were left out to dry, so since both firms were in the same building, Mr. Alarcon helped out some of the clients who needed help with local settlement conferences. These clients never retained us, just paid Mr. Alarcon to represent them at their settlement conferences since their attorney (Mr. Margolin went MIA)
Its amazing you can try and help people out and no one appreciates it. I have been working with Mr. Alarcon and if you had an issue with him, call him directly and you will see what a great attorney he is. I am reading this post, and this is 100% false. I help out on most of the cases and 100% effort is given into every file and Mr. Alarcon helps his clients as much as he can. If you have confusion, please call our office and ask to speak with him. This sort of stuff upsets his staff because we know the effort put into the cases. Again, Mr. Alarcon has nothing to do with Brett Margolin. In fact he has never even met or spoke to Mr. Margolin, just some staff members who were concerned about their clients. The law office of Brett Margolin happen to be in our building that was it. Please call attorney Alarcon and he will gladly speak to you and help you out any way he can. Thanks Justin |
