DO NOT GO HERE! These people were absolutely outrageous! First off my finance went there to purchase a diamond for my engagement ring which we already had. He chose a nicely sized one that looked very clear and sparkly. He was assured it was a 2 Carat, Color D, Excellent Cut diamond. He then put a $1500 deposit for a "layaway" program they said they had. This was so I could come and see if the diamond would fit in the setting of my ring. OH MY GOSH! WHAT CROOKS! When I came they showed me a different diamond and couldn't give me any information about it! Their website advertises that they use the 4C's but the manager, JP, was clueless about them when I asked what color, clarity and size it was. Needless to say we asked for our money back. They said they DID NOT have a layaway program. We produced our paperwork and they tried to say there was only a 30-day return policy.There was no contract made and we had no diamond. The store refused to give us our money back and said that it was a fee for the "inconvenience" of holding the diamond for a few days.
Um.... the diamond they were "holding" wasn't the diamond we agreed to put on hold anyways! So after countless talks with JP, who threatened, yelled, and even cussed out my fiance we decided to take them to court. We had to wait a few months since we were really close to our wedding date and all the chaos that it entails. ( I had a beautiful wedding by the way, even though I did not have my real diamond in my ring!) Finally after a whole year went by and talking to JP got us no where we started the process of filing court papers. The company decided to settle out of court and only refunded us the $1500, BUT NOT BEFORE JP called us and said we would only get the money back if we went to every site we wrote a negative review about them on and took down our reviews. He actually checked each one and only sent the money after we did so. SO HERE I AM exercising my freedom of speech to tell you DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE CROOKS!!!!!!PLEASE SPARE YOURSELVES THE PAIN OF EVEN DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!! I hope they go out of business because they don't even know what a real business is suppose to look like.
