So, we hired them to do a custom closet. They sent someone out to take measurements. Fine. Charged 50% at start. Fine. Then the week after they came in to install. Before unloading the truck, they charged another 40%...only when they were to install, half the material was cut wrong. I called because there was no way i was settling for paying for the delivery, when it wasn't complete! They said they will have it all fixed by the next day. as the conversation went on, we also found that the drawers were too long, and to boot, the four on each side (like we ordered) won't fit, so we had to settle for three! And all the while they said how they were going to have it all done by the next day. I specifically asked what if it's not right tomorrow again? Brian assured me, on his word, it would all be right the next day and complete(i requested it in writing! only he didnt care for that - and that is putting it mildly!) So, wouldnt you know it, the next day, they came in and the material was wrong again! I cannot tell you the way these people treat their customers - but i can tell you that i would pay double to have avoided them! Here is how they handled it: on the first mismeasured shelves: well, the guy that came out didnt take the right measurements but the installers will do that now. So, let me see if i have this straight: The guy you sent out, for the sole purpose of taking measurements, is incapable of taking measurements. And the installers are??? Wow. Then, "take my word for it we'll have it done right tomorrow" - ha, egg on your face. Don't take their word for anything!!!!!!!!!!!! And then the drawers: So, we are getting a total of 6 instead of four...and when we asked for a refund, they refunded what the outside supplier billed them, not what they billed us! Stay away from them if you want things done right. |

Be advised that we did complete the project the following day. This is a completely custom unit and changes do occur. We did refund the full price of the unused drawers that we manufacture in our facility.
This job was completed in 2 consecutive days and all customers are made aware that it may take more or less time than quoted due to unforeseen issues. The contractual agreement clearly states our payment arrangements. We install 1000+ jobs a year and will on occasion have to remake parts.
We are not in the business of having an unhappy customer and they are certainly entitled to their oppinion. However they did pay the final balance and signed off on completion. |
