Teleblend Ripoff after porting number to different company Internet |
4th of May, 2011 by User652378 |
Hi, I was a teleblend customer for few years and decided to switch back due to poor customer service...and i switched over to lingo...the switching almost took close to 4-5 weeks...and 2 months after switching, i got a call from teleblend saying i have an overdue balance of $45...this was charged for the service after the number is ported to lingo. It took me on surprise and when i spoke to customer service...immediately they are taking about "terms and conditions"...where I should call them to cancel, though the number is ported...and giving a nonsense example like its like subscibing to a newspaper, though we dont read, we should call the newspaper company for cancellation... What will they do after my number is ported...? This is plain ripoff plan...when i switched over from At&T....its all automatic cancellation. From the below terms, no where it says that if i port a number to different carrier, i should call them for cancellation. I feel they keep the terms just for their ripoff purpose ... Here is their terms: --------------------------- "Email cancellations are not accepted for security reasons. You may cancel your Service at any time by calling the Teleblend Support Line at (877) 415-5635. You remain fully liable for accrued charges, taxes, and fees outstanding at the time of termination, and you authorize TeleBlend to process these amounts to your credit or debit card. Upon cancellation of service, you also remain liable for the service charges for the current 30 day billing cycle based on the date of your cancellation. If you cancel service prior to your monthly billing cycle date, you will not receive a prorated refund for the remainder of the month. Service activation, LNP and postage fees are not refundable. Any returns of Equipment purchased by Retail Customers are subject to the polices of the TeleBlend authorized retail dealer where the Equipment was purchased" Thanks Gops

Evil people over there. I'm filing with the FCC and I urge everyone who ever had a similar experience to do so.At least make them answerable to someone. |
