Summit Alliance Group Summit Alliance Corporation mortgage modification scam Costa Mesa, California
30th of Nov, 2011 by User548757
Summit Alliance Group aka Summit United Corp with Jeffrey Bordok is a loan modification scam. Mail sent to them now is returned and cannot be forwarded. Their phones seem to have been cut off in October 2010. I am reporting here even though this was a year ago, because I work at a fair lending/housing organization and recently discussed this company with a client who was ripped off for $1501.04 (crazy number but it is what they required). The scammer required the money upfront despite California law prohibiting it. Section 10085.6 of the California Business and Professions Code and Section 2944.7 of the California Civil Code. Jeffrey Bordok is listed by the Better Business Bureau as the contact person for both companies so watch out for him. Since he must have made out well on this scam, he will probably turn up with another company. The Better Business Bureau rates both companies "F". I have filed an official complaint with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions but I doubt that any money can be recovered now.
