Storage Masters Alex Simic Storage Masters New Berlin ruined our furniture and did nothing New Berlin, Wisconsin

This company's storage unit ruined our furniture and all we received was a condesending, out of touch owner who could care less about helping us out. Our furniture was caked with mold. What did they do? They locked us out of our unit after we complained to the BBB! The owner even had the nerve to not talk to me any further because I was not the owner of the unit. My wife was, but he used this legality to hide away. I was not about to subject my wife to his cruelty and condescending attitude. We were paid for another week! But, they still locked us out. No apologies. Just a worthless company that caused us to spend 5k on furniture during what should of been a great experience, moving into our new home. Beware. Do not trust your goods with Store Masters or Alex Simic in New Berlin, WI!

I just got back home from visiting our unit #1044 at Storage Masters of New Berlin just devastated to find all of our belongings furniture, mattresses, photo albums, antiques, my daughter's baby items I was saving, X-mas decorations, etc., etc. covered in mold!!! We took several photos and tried to contact the office personnel but of course it was 5:05 pm on a Sat. afternoon 7/23/2011 so everyone had already left for the day. Called the office no one was there, and no emergency contact not even in our our original contract does it list an emergency contact. I fear based on reading your complaint that we may be in for a BIG fight. I will not however take this lying down my family heirlooms, priceless photo albums, etc. have been ruined! If I wanted to store these items in a moist basement w/ a potential for flooding I wouldn't have given this company my money every month! Please contact me if you'd like to discuss further action against Storage Masters of New Berlin. Thanks
