| In Jackson County, Missouri there is an old company named "DU PONT INVESTMENTS LLC." I spoke to Dan Du Pont, who is listed as the owner of that company and he has owned that company for over twenty years. It then became an LLC in 2004. According to Dan, he is neither affiliated or has ever known Steven Du Pont and will be contacting the State of Hawaii DCCA and Attorney General's Office to make sure that his name is not affected. My guess is that Mr. Du Pont (Steven) will use this company as a scapegoat to blame responsibility for Steve Du Pont's scams and ripoffs. Also, according to my records, there are over 15 people living in the United States with the given name Steven C. Du Pont or Dupont. Coincidence? I think not! |
