Stardock WinCustomize, Stardock ripped me off refusing a refund for duplicate purchases. Plymouth, Michigan |
4th of May, 2011 by User700365 |
I purchased Window Blinds from Stardock Corp. they sent me an email with no serial number in the instructions. I then downloaded an adware program "Impulse" per thier instructions After reading through the forums forums (very inconvienant) I found that I needed to activate Window Blinds through Impulse. I tried but it didn't work, so I puchased Window Blinds again and finally got it activated. I then atempted to contact numerous times for a refund on my duplicate purchase. I called and a message refered me to the support site. I emailed and when I finally got a response It was a link to thier refund policy basically saying I can't get a refund. When I purchased Window Blinds nowhere did they mention No Refunds. They didn't send me my serial Number in the email or proper instructions and I had to download software just to download my purchase. How hard is it to refund Duplicate purchases. What a scam. Never give Stardock your money. Thier must be a law against what Stardock is doing. This is so unfair. I want my money back. |

I've been trying to get a working serial number out of Stardock for more than a month now without result. It for a game rather than windows blinds but it's the same problem.
I can't use the expansion I bought till I get a working serial number - chances of refund... |

I am also having a problem with them. I purchased a wincustomize subscription but was not sent any login details. Despite waiting for 4 days, I have yet to get a response from them. They don't seem to care about paying customers. This is after I also bought the full Object Desktop suite.
It's time Microsoft allowed easy customisation of the windows desktop like you can with Linux, so that sharks like Stardock are wiped from the internet. |

I too have purchased stardock object desktop suite with no emails sent to me. I have sent them an email stating the timeframe too slow for a digital service with no current response |
