| CHRISTOPHER MILLS / JHOHAM NORORI SCAM....Deceptive Advertising......These people convinced me to run an ad with their company. I should have called the country clubs and golf clubs they say they do business with to see if they actually do business with them. After running the ad I received no calls to my business. I called all the golf clubs in the areas that we agreed to advertise in and not one of them had ever heard of the Country Club Life. This is a scam, please do not advertise with this bullshit company! Advertising that makes false claims or misleading statements, as well as advertising that creates a false impression. If retailers systematically advertise merchandise at low prices to get customers into their stores and then fail to have the merchandise, they are guilty of deceptive advertising. Deceptive practices can take many other forms as well, such as false promises, unsubstantiated claims, incomplete descriptions, false testimonials or comparisons, small-print qualifications of advertisements, partial disclosure, or visual distortion of products. Anyone-including the manufacturer of a product, the advertising agency preparing the advertisement, the retailer, or even a celebrity who endorses a product-can be prosecuted for making unsubstantiated claims about a product or service. As a matter of fact, any advertising that leads the consumer to make purchase decisions based on false assumptions about the price and quality of competitive products is considered deceptive practice and is punishable by law. Responsibility for enforcement of the laws dealing with unfair and deceptive advertising comes under the jurisdiction of the federal government. |

SCAM……..Beware. This company will steel your money. I signed up for their golf magazine and they stole my money and then used my credit card information to buy products on the internet.
SCAM I placed a 1/2 page ad for their Golfer's Magazine. The same day, I researched The Country Club Life and Print Rite Publishing to find that they have a history of: - Failing to disclose key conditions of offer - Misrepresenting their print services - Performing work without authorization I called the sales rep back that same day to cancel our order, but could not reach him. A week later the President called me and asked that I reconsider my cancellation. I told him that there had been no mention during my purchase of their "All Sales Final Policy, " that some of the country clubs they listed had never heard of them, and that all of the reviews I researched on the Internet had been negative. At that point, he grew angry and said I had no grounds for a cancellation and ended our call. Ten minutes later he called back and offered a full refund IF I agreed/approved their ad now, then once the magazine ran they would charge our account. When I did not agree to this and again told him NOT TO RUN AN ADVERTISEMENT for our company, he refused to honor a cancellation. |
