On 6/21/11 I applied and paid $38 for a replacement social security card at WWW.SOCIAL-SECURITY-CARD.COM. When my payment was accepted I was given a confirmation number for my transaction but I never received the confirmation email the web site stated they would send me. I waited several weeks for my social security card but it never came. I tried calling the company at 800-971-8249 but the outgoing message says the number has been temporarily disabled. I also sent an email to [email protected] but never received a reply. On top of that their web site is down. Here's what comes up when you go to their site: THIS WEBSITE IS CURRENTLY OFFLINE FOR SUPPORT PLEASE CONTACT: [email protected] YOU MAY ALSO CALL US AT: (800) 971-8249 I'm really concerned about all of the information I entered on their web site. Can someone please tell me what I should do to insure my personal information isn't being used?
