scholarships4moms.net $10,000 Scholarships for moms possible fraudulent claims of scholarships Riverview, Internet |

While I am not a victim of what seems to be a fraudulent service, I don't want anybody else to be either. I'm a single mother of three, close to middle aged, and due to extenuating circumstances I am just now able to return to school for my degree. As I scoured the Internet looking for scholarship opportunities I came across a link that was entitled "$10,000 scholarship for Moms." The website is scholarships4moms.net. So I went to the site to find out more information. Usually, legitimate scholarship sponsors will have more details about the potential candidate whose education they're seeking to invest in. However, this particular site only had a form asking for your name and all your contact information and saying fill out this form and maybe you'll win, yet divulged nothing in terms of who's education they were willing to invest in, which I found quite suspicious. I then researched the phone number associated with the site and discovered it was a cellphone number, and the address it lead to was the Alto Express Restaurant, in Canada!!! Scholarships seekers, spare yourself the aggravation of becoming the victim of identity theft by thoroughly checking the sources of so-called "scholarship donors." Again, a legitimate scholarship sponsor will have detailed information on specific conditions that must be met before a candidate will be considered as a scholarship winner. A deadline for entry will be made available to applicants, and rules will apply. This thing looked like a raffle drawing! NOBODY wins scholarships that way, especially in a ridiculous amount like that!!!! |

this site is a scam...only here to get personal info and address and phone numbers
i have never given out my phone number and am very carefull about it
since registering for this i have gotten texts at 3 am and 1am waking me up from 800/888 numbers
looking up the address i found: 135 Townsend St #620, San Francisco, CA 94107.
i came up with many similar scholarship scams called various things and found some feedback about constant phone calls once people signed up
i doubt this site can produce an actual scholarship winner
it's a total scam and sounds like it's run out of the country
i'm concerned about the info i gave...i bet some people give home addresses!...
don't do it!
one site showed that they are even making bogus adds for colleges that lead to the same information gathering...advertising scholarships that don't exist
one site had a post that said 'i know someone who won it' and had a link to a facebook page...but if you go there there is no information about past winners, only a link to another page that says it lists winners...then that page also has nothing!...
it's bull don't make the mistake i did... |
