Marlene's Urban Bliss marlenesurbanbliss.com marlenesurbanbliss.com They Take Money & Never Deliver - F Rated With the BBB Internet, Georgia |

I purchased a slipcover for my Ikea Klobo from Marlene's Urban Bliss in March. I received an order confirmation email and a charge on my credit card and nothing else. I sent multiple emails about status and I never received a reply. The only thing I saw a sob story on their web site about how the owner is sick and they are very busy. Not a single reply to 4 different emails. I should have never trusted this site. First of all, there is no phone number or address on the site. Clue 1 that it is a scam. Second, they have a big fat "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. Do not buy a klobo slipcover for your ikea couch or anything else from this scam site, www.MarlenesUrbanBliss.com. If they ever respond and ship my goods, I will gladly update this report. |

I am in a similar situation. It all seemed legit when I ordered in May, but since there has been no communication and her etsy shop has disappeared. Will change the review if I ever receive a slipcover or even a response. |

Hi, I am Marlene's assistant and can say that this company is not a fraud just a new company that experienced several bumps on the road. Marlene works every single day, cutting, sewing and shipping orders. She also updates that 'Order Status' and 'Contact Us' pages on her website with everything that is going on the orders and the company. I help her part-time and have previously worked with her before we got laid-off from a major bank. Marlene is an honest person who is trying to bring every order current as quickly as possible. She also has a sewing/cutting assistant and together we are doing all that's possible to ship orders without further customer frustration. I've checked the Etsy orders and there is just one Etsy order outstanding from March and its for a shower curtain. There weren't any sofa slipcovers listings from her Etsy shop. This company is not a fraud and should not be a called a fraud when it is employing people who work very hard to produce slipcovers at discount prices right here in the U.S.A. |

I'm afraid I have to agree with the first two comments. The business may be legitimately short-staffed, but taking payment for products that are not delivered three to four months later looks like fraud, whether or not it actually is.
My order was place in mid-April, and 16 weeks later I have not received anything. (The website at the time promised delivery in 6 weeks.) I am another dissatisfied customer, and would discourage people from purchasing from Marlene's. |

This place is a complete scam! DO NOT PATRONIZE!!! |

Gotta be a scam. I ordered two slip covers in April and have received nothing. In addition, now there is no tracking record. I have a confirmation number but there is no way to track it now. I've been robbed. The "assitant" confirms my worst fears by claiming there are no outstanding orders March. I too would happily revise this review, but it doesn't seem likely. |

I still keep hoping my slip cover will show up some day but yup, I ordered in May from marlenesurbanbliss.com, and it's Oct 16. Nearly 5 full months have passed. The website is still accepting new orders while orders from many months ago are not filled. There is zero customer service apart from very sporadic updates that promise that orders are shipping in the next week or two, or whatever.
Might as well be a scam. Don't give this website your money. |

Sorry to hear about peoples frustrations, but as a solution, there is a place that does IKEA Klobo slipcovers and delivers in 1 week from payment. Check it out, www.lucyslivingroom.com. |

Wow! Thank you! She posted something about not having any money on her site, but she has mine... And here I am with LOTS of unanswered emails 17 weeks later. I'm going to give her two more weeks and then claim fraud on my credit card. Then I'll order from Lucy's! |
