sir cooper printing never delivered a usable product internet |

i chose sir cooper for a 2'x3' poster that i needed for a client. i waited for a proof but instead received the poster in the mail. there was an error that was not caught because of receiving no proof. i contacted them, and they offered a replacement. i resent the file and the poster was shipped again, and this time was of extremely poor quality. i contacted them again to let them know of the horrible color errors in the poster, and also sent them photos of the two side by side. they promised a replacement, but it never came. i contacted them to ask for my money back, but did not receive it. they don't respond to my emails, but do continue to send me their promotional mailers. i would never use this company again. the quality of the work is shoddy, and the service slow to non-existent. they are very dishonest. |

Humm, we used them multiple times before and while the shipping was indeed quite slow (so much so that I gave myself at least a two week lead), the printing I received was on the same order or better than say Office Depot or the local print shop. I had them print some 11x17 small posters on gloss and around 4000 black and white copies. I can't say i had complaints about any of their work (outside of it being slow). Like I said, their printing on the color materials (the typical 11x17 white glossy sheets) looked just fine to me and better than Office Depot. I don't expect miracles at these prices but they were decent.
They seem kind of disorganized and thus I can easily see some print jobs here and there being bad.
I'm actually disappointed Sir Cooper isn't around anymore. They are now called Super Copy and it doesn't look like they print all the stuff I used to get from them. They were a good place to get some workhorse high volume middle of the road materials from, although I wouldn't dare use them for fine art pieces. I'm ordering some bigger 22x36 poster prints from them and I'll be happy if they turn out as well as the old 11x17 did. I'll return to let everyone know how well these "Super Copy" prints actually turn out. |
