They sent us a check for $1,965.09, of which I was to keep $400, spend $200 at well known stores, and send $1,250 back to them by Western Union. There are various grammatical and punctuation errors in the letter, but most are subtle. The kicker is that the shopping and return Western Union amount are supposed to be completed within 48 hours of depositing their check. That means you have don't get notice that their check o of $1,965.09 bounced until AFTER you wired them $1.250 of your own good money. It was supposed to have come from Canada, although the address on the letterhead is Miami.

I just got this in the mail TODAY!! Everyone please becareful. I did not proceed with it, I knew something was fishy. I never worked for the money, therefore I would never cash a check. I called the number on the letter, a African man picked up (I am black as well), however he had a bad attitude and could not explain why I was so lucky to recieve this check. What really caught me off guard was that I had to return so much of the money. I kept asking him, "why send me that much money, to do something small and to send 70% back, why not jus keep the money?" Ultimately, I googled the research group and WAM! A bunch of complaints. Everyone enjoy your holidays and be safe.

OH MY...lmfao at the grammatical errors. SOOO TRUE! but yes, my sister just got this "check" in the mail and when something like that seems too good to be true, well it probably is.
