1st of all, thank you to this group for the help! I am yet another victim of this company that debited my account without my authorization, ( it is done through a bait and switch process ), so be careful. They supposedly allow you 6 days to cancel, but do not charge you're account until after this time has passed. They tried to tell me that I signed up for it on August 26th, but did not debit my account until September 9th. Thanks to the information from this website, I immediately contacted my bank, and they instantly returned my money, but warned me that the company could likely try to re-withdraw the $ 149.95. The bank also told me that they could block their in-coming request i.d, but most companies like this usually have multiple i.d's just for this purpose. The bank said my best way to fix this permenently would be to change my account to a new one. Great, that means every company that I have ongoing business with, even utilities, etc. would need to be contacted with my new information. These guys need to be shut down so they can't keep doing this. I am also concerned that they will share my personal information to other companies. They should face criminal charges for such un-ethical and illegal practices ! If this happens to you, please join this forum and tell your story so that this can be stopped by these scammers.
