I used these movers when they were known as Serenity Moving. They have since gone out of business and started a new company called G & G Moving. BEWARE! I have moved many times in my life & they were the worst movers ever!!! This happened on my move from San Diego to Houston.... 1) They wouldn't take 2 of my artificial trees, which were on my originial list of items that I was charged for, both trees were $300/ea. 2) They packed up my glass coffee table ( I paid $50 for them to pack it up), and you know what's coming next, when the movers got to my house & unpacked it, there is glass everywhere....broken... this was a new coffee table from Room & Board, about $500 3) I was missing 4, that's right, 4, huge pieces of canvas artwork, 63'' x 48'' ($400/ea). How do you lose artwork that is that big & 4 of them?????? 4) They scratched up my Louis Kartell chair - $400 5) They lost the screws to my dining table 6) They wouldn't give me the final weight of my stuff, because I suspect, that it was a lot less than the amount that they charged me for. I called numerous times for this & for the above issues. 7) The best is that one of the movers had a bad back & he had to keep taking a break, I thought he was going to have a heart attack, it took them 4hrs or so to move my stuff in. And, I only had stuff to fill up a 1 bedroom apt. 8) I filed my claim and they wanted to give me $80 for everything! I gave them an itemized excel spreadsheet of where I bought my stuff, with links the websites, how much it cost, when I bought it, the tax & shipping on it. And, pictures of the damage & missing items that luckily I had pics of. My final two cents is that karma is a b**ch. And these guys have some really bad things coming there way for how they have scammed, cheated & destroyed peoples things that they worked really hard for. There needs to be some sort of law out there to protect consumers from companies like this.
