Select Evergreen contacted us about repairing our roof. We had our Insurance Company approve the work and paid them half the money to get started. The first installation - the shingles didn't match. Some were light and some were dark. They sent a crew out, in the rain, to patch/replace the areas that didn't match. It looked worse - so the third time they came out, they re-shingled the right front of the house. The shingles still did not match. But the Site Manager came out and said it looked great to him! We could see the shingles were not the same color from the street. We had another Roofing Contractor come out and actually go onto our roof. That is when we found out that the drip edge and flashing were also never installed. We also had nail pops and damaged shingles that were installed - all of which we couldn't see from the street. The Site Manager came out again and finally went on the roof. He agreed that those items were not installed, as per our contract. He would have a crew come out to add the flashing, lift the shingles to install the drip edge and install a new front of the roof. We said no because it has been 2 seasons since this happened and now the back of the roof will be 2 years older than the front and also will not match colors. We did not want them lifting the shingles to install something that should've been installed in the first place and we never would've known if we didn't have a professional go up and look. We told them we want our money back. We don't want them working on our home - they are not trustworthy and did a horrible job 4 times! The Better Business Bureau didn't help either. They said we have to go to Minnesota to go through Litigation. Select Evergreen ripped us off. They are an untrustworthy company. They are not professional and their quality of work is horrendous!!!!
