Every year we plan a trip to Myrtle Beach S.C. for Bike week. We usually book with an hotel but we found it was getting to be expensive and found out renting a house was cheaper and cleaner, we have in the past booked with Elliot Rentals but this particular time we waited to late and they were only booking for Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday well anyway my neice found this home and of course I was skeptical cause we have never rented from private homeowners and with the
economy being as it is I wasn't sure if this was a good idea, but after talking with the lady she seem to be a honest person. We rented the home from May 26, 2011 thru May 31, 2011, when we got there we got the key it was where she said it would be went in the place was nice like the picture had no problems, she asked if we were bringing motorcycles which we told her no because we don't own any and she said that they didn't allow them on the property, well she must be talking about her property because there were motorcycles on the block and down the street. When we left on that Tuesday May 31, 2011 we did everything that we was told to do, I even counted and made sure that all the linen was there, washed the dishes, wash the pool towels swept the floor made sure everything was neat and in place. Come back home the rental agreement said within 10 days we will get our deposit after we didn't receive it I called her and she said she was about to email me saying we left the place a mess they had to paint the walls, clean the carpet there was grease on the carpet and looked like we had a motorcycle inside the home and said the cleaners had seen a motorcycle on the property that was a lie. Well number 1 we don't own a motorcycle and if we did there was a garage there where we could of put it in instead of inside the home. Please whatever you do, don't rent from Lisa or Dave Wasserman, I don't know if it is a scam or what but we have learned our lesson about renting from private owners we have never experienced this before we have been renting for 8 years now also have rented property in Florida,Williamsburg,Virginia Beach,New York etc the list goes on and have had no problems from now on it will be strictly Real Estate Agents.
