Scentura Creations American Management Facility Scamming People, Getting their hopes up real high! Saint Louis, Missouri

Awe where should I begin..... I thank God that I found this site and did not pursue this any further. Some of you guys have some real horror stories and much respect goes out to the ones that stayed with the company for a while. My story is alot similar to the stories on here. I responded to an ad on craigslist for nice, friendly fun person, looking for entry level management to start off with 35k to 40k a year. I'm thinking okay, sent my resume' and 2 days later got a call to come in for a interview. It was hard to find because there was no name on the outside of the building (red flag #1). Then the door was covered from the inside by a long piece of white paper, I'm thinking it was to keep the sun from coming in. Had one of the managers not come out and seen me, I would have known it was there. Once inside, there was music blasting and everybody was smiling and happy... I'm thinking wow, this seems like a fun place to work. I was called back for the interview and it was like no other interview that I have had before ( red flag #2). It lasted about 10 minutes. She really didn't describe what the job entailed and when I asked she asked me would I be available tomorrow for a 2nd interview and that she and her partner would go over more details. She said to call her back at 5pm and she would let me know if I qualified for the 2nd interview. Called back and she's happy saying , we liked you and would you like to come back tomorrow at 12 noon. I need a job so of course I'm like yeah. The whole entire night, I was having this funny feeling like something was not right and that this was too good to be true. She would not tell me the name of the company so I could not research it before the 2nd interview. The next day I show up and I notice a few people waiting, music blasting again. They called us back to a room to take notes and then more and more people start showing up. I'm thinking group interview, okay. NO! The whole time there taking about rainbows and flowers and all this fairy tale stuff but failing to say that the job entails going out and selling this product. They made it seem like we were going to be in the office handling paperwork, and answering phones, you know, office duties. No questions were allowed during this 2 1/2 hr. "interview" and we were all told to call her at 3pm to see if we were hired. The application was shady, the building and office was shady, and they wanted us to sign some paper with our vehicle license plates # on it. I did not give it them because even though they had talked for hours, they still had not said anything about the real job. Promising 9-5 hrs, incentives, bonuses, owning your office after 90 days but not really saying how that was going to happen. She did us a website that we could check out the company and get an outlook on whats its like. I left the interview still feeling like there was something hidden that they were not saying. I called at 3pm and she said I got the job. I was happy and skeptical. So I made up my mind to research the website 10milliondollarexpansion.com and up pops this website and others, saying how this is a scam. I read alot of these stories and I am shocked to find out that these people are getting away with this. This is a scam. I'm glad I found this site because had I gone in there Monday and found out all this hidden sh*t, they would have had to call the police on me cause I don't work for free. I have a family to take care of and bills to pay. There is no way I can go weeks without pay and still continue to work like its all good. I would have torn that office apart if I had to go through what some of you guys have gone through with this company. I'm glad I didn't make it that far. It seems like some of these people were having money problems, legal problems, not being able to at, no gas, can't pay the bills, working 12 hr days and the list goes on and on. Owning your own business is a great opportunity but I refuse to use people and step on them to climb to the top. So call it weak, blowout or whatever you want... I guess this job just was not for me. Prayers go out to anyone that out on the street risking your lives to sell this product cause where I'm from, you can get seriously hurt approaching people trying to get them to buy some knockoff crap, you will mess around and get knock out! I am seriously thinking about printing out copies of all these reports and taking it up there on Monday and giving it to all the people that show up there. A damn shame.

Unfortunately, it seems there’s a lot of negativity and false information circulating the internet regarding Scentura, and I think it’s based mostly on people’s misunderstanding of the Scentura Opportunity. I thought I’d post something brief that would help make things clear.

First of all, Scentura Creations is a manufacturer and supplier of rendition fragrances. They distribute their product line to Independent Wholesale Business owners throughout the U.S. and have been in business for more than 35 years. They’re unique in that they provide merchandise without any capital outlay to these Independent Wholesale Distributors, meaning they don’t pay Scentura until after they’ve sold the merchandise. This is key because it removes a huge barrier of entry into business… Inventory costs.

Second, the sales model used by most independent businesses that sell Scentura’s products is that of Direct Selling. It’s a business to business, face-to-face sales strategy that has worked for over 35 years. It’s not glamorous, and it’s probably not for everyone, but it just works.

Last, and most importantly, Scentura doesn't ask you to invest any money, it's not a franchise, it's not a pyramid or multi-level marketing business, there's nothing to purchase, there are no sign-up fees. The only thing required from you is your time and hard work, and you’ll get a chance to run your own business. How many companies out there are willing to offer that?

It probably sounds too good to be true, but it makes sense when you understand Scentura's incentive: It's a Win-Win scenario for everyone. You get a chance to own your own business, and Scentura gains a new customer, which means more volume. If Scentura only dealt with individuals who had hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest, they'd be waiting a long time,
especially in this economy. So they're willing to take all the financial risk.

Again, this is not for everyone, but the opportunity is definitely real, and many owners have gone on to make six-figure incomes running their own businesses that sell Scentura's products.
