I will also have to write a report on SB Preserves Co. In January I set up a sale with them to buy jars of jam for my wedding for favors. The seller was very responsive and set up my listing on etsy right away. Throughout the process she was very helpful and responded quickly. So I do believe they are a legitimate company as there were mentioned in magazines and had great reviews. The trouble started to begin in March I tried to contact them and they were very slow to respond. I emailed them again in April because my shipment was to arrive then and it took weeks to hear back from them. I should have known then that something was off in the delayed responses, but finally they responded to get there final payment. I paid it thinking maybe they took a break before wedding season. Sure enough 1 week before my wedding they won't return phone calls, emails, complaints through paypal and etsy, or written mail. There website has been shut down and they have terrible reviews from brides like myself who were totally taken advantage of on what should be the happiest time in our lives. Now a week before my wedding I must scramble around to find 200 wedding favors similar to this, which is very hard. I am devastated to be quite frank and appalled that anybody could ever do this to brides right before our weddings like we do not have enough to worry about. If you are closing down you must fulfill past orders that have been paid for in full! I have done everything imaginable to give this company the benefit of the doubt between waiting until now to take action and fight for my money back. I hope that all of us brides can get our money back and hopefully find favors in time for our weddings.
