Sanderson Rentals Exploitation of the renting public by charging excessive renters fees/penalties Boise, Idaho

It is my conviction that Sanderson Rentals property management corporation is fattening itself by charging excessive punitive fees on itâ€™s renters. Case in point: Sanderson Rentals in Boise is a poster child of unrestrained greed when it comes to itâ€™s rental leases. I have been a renter for three decades and I have never witnessed so many frivolous fees on any lease agreement since placing a $400 deposit on a rental of theirs last month. After signing the lease in haste without reading it thoroughly, I soon realized I had fallen into a trap. With 20 days left before moving in I terminated the lease and Sanderson was all too happy to retain my $400 deposit. A few examples of what I would consider unreasonable fees include a $400 charge if rent is more than 4 days late which doesnâ€™t include the $60 bank fee if a check bounces, a $400 smoker fee if anyone smokes inside or outside of the building, a $1500 fee if a tenant paints any area of the unit. If the exorbitant penalty fees donâ€™t turn your stomach the sky high cleaning details upon moving out just might! Who ever heard of a requirement involving the rinsing of floors with mineral water after washing. Sanderson has raised the bar for cleaning so excessively high that a tenant is all but assured of losing their security deposit. It reminds me of the scene from the movie â€œMommie Dearestâ€ where Joan Crawford scolds her maid for not getting every crumb of dirt from under the planter! We are living in a time of unbridled greed and Sanderson Rentals is proof positive of how far it will go in the unfair exploitation of renters by charging exorbitant fees and penalties regarding itâ€˜s property management business.
