Consumer reviews and reports on scam companies, bad products and services
Peak Communications participates in fraud
7th of Apr, 2011 by Christie
I reiterate the other complaints that Peak 'Communications' called me, identifying themselves as AT&T and offering savings on my service plan--not on our already nearly free but unlimited long distance plan. I was told by 3 dutiful minions at USBI, (Peak's cover org), that there was a 'good chance' i would be reimbursed for FRAUDULENT charges if I wrote a letter. They tried to tell me that I had received a 'welcome' letter, that was another lie.
This is just one of thousands if not millions of examples of how our country is going down the tubes. Fraud is acceptable; if it weren't, Peak would either be forced to be on the up-and-up or forced out of business. The worst part is that they can only make money by scamming people.
There should be a class action suit filled to bring these parasites down, or at least a petition to bring them to the attention of the BBB.
I'm only 55 but I got scammed; never again..
