salesboom is a SCAM BEWARE

I signed up over the phone for their service and paid for the years contract that I agreed to during the phone conversation. I had tried the free trial and everything worked perfectly, as soon as I was a paid member, everything changed. I couldnt stay logged into their site, with each click I was logged out and it would take hours if not sometimes days to be able to log back in and even when I was able to remain logged in, their site did not work, it was slow beyond words, most times after clicking a link it would time out and then log me out, when I complained about this they told me they knew of the problem and was working on it and for me to continue with the support session I have scheduled but I couldn't get anything out of the support session because I couldn't stay logged in, the next time I tried the support session I was able to remain logged in but couldn't navigate the site because nothing was working, I'd click and nothing ever happened until it would time out - again they told me they understood and were working on it. So I gave up on it for a week.

The next time I logged in I did see some improvement and schedule another training/support session and just at the very moment it was supposed to start they called and canceled. I set about guiding myself around and as soon as I did, their system yet again logged me out and they yet again said they were fixing it, so I spent days logging in, adding one contact then getting logged out when hitting the submit button, relogging in adding another contact only to be logged out again and and again with each click of the submit button.

So I finally just asked for a refund, everyone knew I couldn't stay logged in, they all admitted they were having difficulties and I tried to remain friendly and said you know, its a great idea IF and when you can sort it out, until then I need to move on to a service I can actually use. At that point I was told i would receive a call from someone who could refund my money, well of course that call never came. In the following weeks I called numerous amounts of time and was spoken to very harshly and rudely by some Asian lady whom I assume is their only customer service rep, she attempted to blame my computer or my internet connection for the problem but when I told her that several of their tech staff had admitted the problem and said they were working on it, at this point - the line went dead and I could never, using my own name speak with anyone from salesboom again. My emails went unanswered as well. The only time I could get through to them was if I called the sales line and pretended to be interested in purchasing their service, then and only then would someone from salesboom speak with me, as soon as they realized who I was and why I was calling, I was either put on an indefinite hold where no one ever came back to the phone (we're talking upwards to 45 mins at a time I would just lay the phone down to see if anyone would ever come!) or the same Asian lady would spew a hateful nasty tone of worthless crap to me that got me no where.

After a while, I felt the situation was useless and realized I had just been scammed and that was that, nothing I could about it. I contacted the BBB in Canada and filed a complaint against salesboom and after the complaint while during the mediation process, salesboom tried unsuccessful thankfully to get payment for another year when I had only signed up for the one and couldnt even use it - then the harassing letters and phone calls started from some guy who claimed to be from an attorney's office on their behalf. After about the 5th time that I had cussed him and salesboom like the dogs they are, this guy actually tried to barter with me, told me to send half the money and he wouldnt put it on my credit. Yeah, right.

So anyway, as it stands today I just got an email from the Canadian BBB with a response from salesboom, saying they would drop collections of the 2nd year that I never even signed up for if I would drop my BBB claim against them. NO WAY was my reply, no way in hell.

BUT ATTENTION those of you who've been ripped and scammed by salesboom, this to me is a sign of weakness. Not enough to give me a refund (of course) but I am sure they are getting more and more negative posts such as this one and the hundreds more you can find on the net and more complaints to the BBB, so I implore you, if you have been ripped off scammed by salesboom and have not yet posted somewhere about it, to please do so now and if you have not filed a complaint yet with the BBB please go to this link: http://www.maritimeprovinces.bbb.org/Find-Business-Reviews/#middle-result and click the "File a Complaint" link as it stands right now, this BBB is giving them a A- minus score, are you kidding me? What does it take to get a B score, murder? Those of us who have been conned by salesboom out of our hard earned money deserve some kind of retribution even if that is to only prevent others from being the next salesboom victim. (may they rot in hell).
