Do not use this company! They are so disorganized and I wondered to myself if they are indeed a scam. I read somewhere on the Internet that some shipping companies are fronting as that but they are really laundering money or its a drug ring. I have no idea with BongoUs.com, but I will tell you that they will list your things wrong, put outrageous prices on your items that are in inventory (alot of customs fees are based off of these prices), they will put the wrong weight (I don't mean off by a 1/2 a kilogram, I am talking 20's and 100's), you ask them a question and they get back to you in days and then don't even answer your question. It's a HORRIBLE service! RECENTLY, they took hundreds, if not almost $1000 worth of stuff I had and said that it was there too long and they 'disposed' of it. NO warning, NOTHING. They claimed, of course, to cover their *ss that they sent emails but no way, I checked and I have always received every email that company has ever sent me and NOT ONE EMAIL OR WARNING saying they were taking my stuff. Therefore, I say, don't do business with them! I also use USABOX.com and the only thing that I can say about them is that I had two accounts that I wasn't even using, but they decided to make it all into one to save me charges and I didn't even ask for this service, which was totally cool. I have had 2 packages mailed from them and they were cool. NO problems. Their fees are very reasonable too. Oh, that's another thing, in the past BongoUs.com mailed me certain items that I wanted or needed but out of the clear blue, they decided that they couldn't mail those items to me anymore, so in the end, they got that too! It would have cost me $40 to have it sent to another address when the product only cost $12 or to have is 'disposed' of, it would have cost $15. Another company I used before who were pretty straight up but a little higher pricing was MyUS.com. They are based out of Florida and seem on the 'up and up'. I would try them again. But again, communications was not great. That's the problem that I had with them and ordering things for them to buy but they would be unavailable by the time they got my email so I switched to BongoUs.com. Now I am regretting my decision. I hope this helps somone out there. I know that I have several storage units in various states and they can't take your things without notifying you legally and even then you have the chance to pay up your bill and keep your things. I can't believe that BongoUS.com has the right to just take people's stuff without notifying them. I am not a competitor and I will tell you that I am actually considering contacting the local police, senators in that area, Better Business Bureau and more to complain and have them investigated. They cannot just take your things without notifying you legally. That, is STEALING! |

i signed up for Bongo. Decided to go with the "Advantage" account for $15 a month. Worst mistake ever. They took my money and assumed i was a fraudster. Wanted all kinds of documents to prove who i was, etc. Very poor customer service. Only way of contacting them is through email, and their autoreplies are a lie. Their written autoreplies promises a response within 1 business day. I've sent two in 2 days and absolutely no response. This being an "Advantage" customer. I'm going to all my credit card company and dispute the $15 charge and request a "chargeback" i suggest everyone else avoid this company like the plague |
