On vacation in Nassau, Bahamas my husband and I was constantly being stop by street sales representatives for Royal Holiday to come to learn about the travel plan. We went ( first major mistake). The sales presentation was high pressure lasting more than three hours.Everytime we wanted to walk away, another offer placed on table. Two salespersons at table. At table they informed us the travel plan would give us access anytime we wanted, only pay maintanince and airfare to unlimited hotels across the world. We were told many hotels in the caribeean (false) . Majority of caribeeean hotels in Mexico. Limited to days due to the points system. more points more money. Representatives stated, in order to travel to our mexico privilge certificate only pay maintaince fee . (false) all resorts were inclusive which we had to pay. Representatives stated they would purchase our cape cod time share as part of the deal. ( true and false) Addedum to contract requires us to pay an extra $23,000.00 and then they will purchase our timeshare. They got $3,000.00of our money, we got $5,000.00 bill. scam! |

It seems like this is a very common problem in Mexico. My wife & i bought into a Royal Elite Timeshare in Playa del Carmen. We stayed in sandos caracol resort & signed contract for royal elite. we've found out in the last few months that availiablity of resorts that we require are very limited (sales person shown us extensive range of hotels). flight deals are no better than booking myself. we enquired to stay lanzarote sandos dec 2012 the ai rate is in total $1900 for the week. i feel that this is going to be costly in the long run, not the ideal deal that was sold to us. This is a forum with more complaints about this company:

I'm in the process of calling the BBB and PROFECO and seeing what they can do. Possibly the attorney General also!! |
