Rowe Recruitment & Partners Receptionist/Assistant Fake at Inland Empire, Internet

I responded to a post on Craigslist for Receptionist/Assistant (Inland Empire) on 9/30/11. They quickly respond back the day later and I got a very professional response from Laura Pullscin, I have copied it here: "Hello Marlene
We would like to thank you for sending your resume to Rowe Recruitment & Partners. After reviewing your initial credentials, I think you could possibly be a great fit for our company. Our Human Resource manager would like to schedule an interview with you before she leaves for vacation early next week. You need to complete the pre-interview screening before we can schedule an interview, which can be found at http://rowe-career.info or the career link on our homepage. Your applicant code is XXXXXX. Please write down your code, as that is the only way you can gain access to your application and employee profile. Once you complete your screening someone from HR will contact you within 72 hours to schedule an interview." Respectfully

Laura mailto:[email protected] The link took me to a pretty well put together questionnaire where I gave short answers about my qualifications and so on, but after I clicked 'submit', I was taken to a page explaining that the last step was an identity verification/background check in the form of a credit check. It said that they would receive some type of identity confirmation that wouldn't show my credit history on their end, which sounded ridiculous. Thats when i realize something is wrong and is sounding like scam. Do not do this pre-screening, up until that point I though it was a real company. Then I go to the actual website of the company, and google Rowe Recruitment & Partners I looked up the website and found that two of six pages were functional, the About Us and Contact pages. All others were "under construction." There is no way to contact this company. Beware this company has the tendency to recuit on craigslist.org big time for positions such as
Front Office
Bookkeeper Administrative Support
Receptionist/Front Office
Office Assistant I think this is absolutely disgusting with so many individuals desperately seeking employment in this terrible economic that there are these types of predators out there wasting our precious time and producing false hopes. As I finally realized and reviewed the other comments and other scam websites, I did not proceed any further. I have seen and read enough to know that this company is truly a scam!
