Received a very rude and threatening phone message from a Mrs. Riveria at Rosenthal, Stein, and Associates. Asked for proof of debt because I was aware of the "debt" they spoke of, but it had already been handled a long time ago. They said they got my work phone number from the FBI data search. When I asked for proof of debt, she wanted to email the information to me. I told her I want it on paper form and she said she could not do that. She was extremely rude and told me I had admitted debt and that i was being recorded. I told her I absolutely admitted to nothing except knowing what this was in reference to. We wound up hanging up and I was still not satisfied. I called back and Yolanda looked my case up again and said this was the first time she had ever contacted me. I told them a few months ago, someone had contacted me as well. They emailed me a statement. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she transferred me back to Mrs. Riveria. She had me on speaker and I asked to speak to her supervisor. She refused and told me I was speaking to her. Eventually I told her to remove me from speakerphone (i could hear people talking and listening). Someone in the background, very unprofessional and disrespectful, said "who she think she is?". I will not talk to these incredibly rude and unprofessional people again. They obviously have no supervisors, or anyone with authority to speak to. I am assuming I need to contact my attorney? This matter is over 9 years old.
