Internet ATV scam |

Kevinwheels.com almost scammed me until all kinds of red flags popped up! This is what happened so anyone and everyone is aware that they are truly a scam site! I found an atv at an amazing deal, of course, everything on their site is an amazing deal. That's what drew me in. I reciprocated with them through email (they don't have a phone number) and in order to purchase the atv from kevinwheels.com, they only accepted money to be wired. Went to my bank to wire the money. The money was wired to a bank in the UK. I emailed kevinwheels.com and told them the money was wired and didn't receive an email back from them. I started getting worried. I called my bank immediately to see if they still had time to cancel the wire, even though by this time, I had a feeling my money was gone. While my bank was figuring all of that out, I received an email from kevinwheels.com saying that they have made an acception for me and they already shipped the atv and it would be here in a week and they would keep me updated on when they received the wire. Long story short...my bank got my money back and I sent an email to kevinwheels that they will not be receiving the wire, and they were really mad, and trying to create a sense of urgency. This is the best part!!! I told them that I would drive there and pick it up and pay cash and they gave me their address (the same address on their site in the about us section). I google mapped it and called businesses that were neighboring that address and they never heard of them! In fact, the address they gave, is the address of another business that sells massage tables so I called them they told me I was the third call they had that week! They said that kevinwheels.com is a complete scam, and they are sick of them using their address. The business owner even contacted kevinwheels.com and told them that he knew what they were doing and asked them to stop using his address! So everyone and anyone out there, be aware! Kevinwheels.com is a complete scam!
Be aware that they will post questions online pretending to be satisfied customers to give the illusion that their company is legit!
You don't have to believe a thing I say, check it out for yourself. Google map their address they give you online : 6443 Hollywood Rd, Magalia, CA
You will find that a different business name pops up (in line tables). Call that business number. Find out for yourself. In fact, I even called neighboring businesses to give them the benefit of the doubt. I urge everyone to do the same. |
