room to go warranty rip off miami, Florida
23rd of Apr, 2013 by User213043
I bought a leather couch from rooms to go. the salesman was very insistent on me purchasing an extended warrant for 3 years that was supposed to cover any problems with the leather except mechanical damage such as a cut or tearing the leather. after 8 months the cushions starting collapsing and I noticed a discoloring of the leather in 2 spots. called rooms service and made an appointment for their technician to come out. he came out, looked and stated it was normal wear on the cushions and sweat causing the discoloration so not covered on the warranty. bear in mind this was less then one year and still supposed to be covered in the original one year warranty. i am trying to find other people with similar problems with rooms to got warranty coverage to talk to.. if i can get other people involved i can talk to an attorney to see if we have legal grounds to go further with this. my contact is (((REDACTED))).
