Robert F Gott is the name of the individual I am complaining about. I believe the other names in the title are aliases and the names of websites that Mr. Gott runs. On May 28, 2011, I responded to an ad on Craigslist for a tutor. I received an email from someone calling themselves Robb Alexander suggesting I apply to be a tutor on the website careofamerica.org. Starting on June 18, 2011, there was some communication with Mr Gott about tutoring a student in my area. At this time I was directed to the website supertutorsusa.com. I tutored the student from July 8, 2011 to August 3, 2011. I submitted tutor invoices in order to be paid for my work on July 16, 2011, July 26, 2011 and the final one on August 3, 2011. I have not yet received any money from Mr. Gott. Mr. Gott claims that his company has a financial shortfall and is having difficulty paying tutors. He further claims that tutors who accept payment by PayPal have higher priority than me because I am not willing to accept payment by PayPal. I believe Mr. Gott’s attempt to force me to accept PayPal constitutes bait-and-switch tactics on his part. The terms page at careofamerica.org and also the terms page at supertutorsusa.com did not mention the requirement that he pays by PayPal. The application that I submitted at careofamerica.org did not request PayPal account information. The application at supertutorsusa.com also did not request PayPal account information, last time I looked at it. He did not mention PayPal anywhere on the careofamerica.org website. The login page at supertutorsusa.com was a copy of the login page at careofamerca.org except he added language about his paying by PayPal in a deceptive manner.

Robb Gott's phone message-Tom your doing it again. You don't know what business is. You broke a verbal agreement which is binding. If you do not take this down, I will sue you for one million dollars. You fuckn loser.
Dropping the f-bomb isn't good Robb and you should just quit your business because your scary and freek people out when they tried to help you out. You do not have professional character when things do not go your way. period! Also, you do not pay people and thats sad when you claim to have so many tutors! |
