The same thing has just happened to me. I paid £5.95 which was supposed to be postage for a free trial cream. I received the item after 3 weeks and discovered that they have taken £69.95 from my credit card. The Item came with no invoice of details of the compant to enable me to contact them. I have just been on another complaints site for this company and someone has posted a contact number for the company it is 888 804 3579 |

I have just contacted BOTH of these firms. They are in the USA so you need to phone after 2pm our time. According to RL Skincare we have joined some sort of club where we have agreed to pay £69.95 PER MONTH. You need to tell them to close the account., she gave me a termination of account number. Call0800 012 4256. It is similar with Hydroxatone, although she said she has refunded my £44.57 and I should see it in my account in 7 to 10 working days - we'll see. Call 001800 672 2259. I will be keeping a very close eye on my account for some time. If it happens again I will go to my bank's fraud department and ask them to deal with it. I contacted them in the first instance and they asked me to try to sort it out first. Good Luck to you with your calls. |

thank you, Ann, for giving these numbers, we called them on 08000124256 also and they promise to refund £ 69.95x3 (that is the amount they took from my account!!! oh, my god!), we`ll see, i hope very much.Anyway, thanks |

I also have been robbed Bought a sample for my lady friend for £5-95 and had 2 payments of £69-95 taken from my account |

I also ordered the trial cream at £5.95 plus p&p plus a cream. This was in July or August. The amount of £34.90 was debited to my credit card in August, so I assumed the order had been despatched and paid the account, but no goods have arrived as yet. Yesterday my September statement came in and I noticed that there was a charge of £69.95 plus £5.95 for demalift and so contacted the credit card company as I had not made any purchase to that amount. They informed me that another £69.95 and £5.95 had been debited to my October account. On their advice I cancelled my credit card, and contacted their fraudulent transactions dept. However, it seems that as I did make a purchase, although never received anything, there was nothing I could do. They gave me two email addresses for RL Skincare (and recommended I keep a copy of the email), but both email addresses are bogus. My next option is to contact my credit card customer billing disputes team after the weekend.
I tried the telephone numbers 0800 012 4256 and 0800 012 4263, which are given on my statement and they are both unobtainable. The first complaint above gives a telephone number of 888 804 3579. I dialled this and it put me through to an air conditioning company in Doncaster although the Doncaster code is 01302
The telephone number 001800 672 2259 goes to their company in America and their office hours are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

UPDATE: I googled Dermalift and went through sites until I found one that showed the information which caught my eye in the first place and made my order. There is a tab to contact them. It goes without saying that I sent them a 'stern' email. Because the 'email' was on their contact site I copied it as per the instructions from my credit card company, and put down the date and time it was sent.
I don't know if it will do any good, but will have to wait and see if I get a reply. |

Finally managed to get through to RLSkincare on 0800 012 4256 to cancel the 'subscription' I had with them. I thought it was a free trial I had ordered back in January! Since then they've taken £69.95 every month, and even though the credit card company was supposed to have stopped any payments, they've managed to keep taking it by using a slightly different account!!! Haven't had any of the money credited back to my account yet and my credit card company say that changing my card details isn't even enough to stop them! Hopefully it will stop now though as I've got a cancellation number from them. I urge anyone else affected to call straight away...although you may be on hold for quite a while, although it's worth it to know it's cancelled! These people should be stopped. I feel like I've done something wrong, but I never read anywhere that the trial was based on 18 days free use, before they take the money...what kind of free trial is that!
RLSKINCARE are sneaky thieving gits!
Only ordered their 'free' cream as I was feeling a bit down about turning 40 and wanted to try it to cheer myself up! Really shouldn't have bothered as it's done nothing to cheer me up, just made me about £500 worse off!!! |

I got through on the telephone via my credit card company and cancelled both the order, as I hadn't received anything, and the subscription. I was given two cancellation numbers and they had the nerve to ask if I wanted the order to go ahead, so told them not to bother. I was then sent two emails confirming the numbers and they had the front to offer me 25% off any future order. One email only mentioned one £69.95 although 2 had been debited to my credit card account, so I emailied them and got a message back right away that two subscription amounts were being credited to my card account and it could take up to 30 days.
The other day two parcels arrived. One was dermalift and the other the free sample. So it looks as though they sent them after my call. There is no information on the leaflets sent, but there is an address which says - Distributed by Radialabs, Hollywood, Florida, FL33021 - telephone 1 (877) 309-3491.
I will have to go through the who procedure again to make sure they do not debit my card. |
|
|
I got through on 08000124263 and have a returns section at Radiolabsreturn, Unit 2d, gatwick gate, industrial estate, lowfield heath, crawley, RH11 0TG,
it is a rolling order every 20days so unless you stop it you will be had for £69, 95 each time. I don't know if the product actually works but their marketing strategy has put me off for life.. |

Hi
I'm afraid we only have ourselves to blame. I, like most of you, did NOT read the Terms and Conditions.
It clearly states what we are signing up for - ongoing payments unless we cancel.
The lady I spoke to on 00877 778 8243 was very helpful. She is able to track the orders and say when and how they were delivered. If they are returned to the above address in Crawley she promises a refund of £59.95 - which under the circumstances is good.
I have learnt my lesson... the hard way. |

I received my statement today and find I also have been charged £69.95 fromRLSkincare for goods I did not order. I think trading standards should close them down. Joyce B |
