Republic Wester Refused To Cover Damages They Caused To My Vehicle Pheonix, Arizona

Republic Western & Uhaul International have a business partnership that enables them to give unfair settlements. They are owned by the same company despite their lies. I had a hitch installed by Uhaul on 3-23-2009 that has failed. They didn't install all the bolts in the hitch upon installation. This became obvious when the hitch seperated from my vehicle. By not installing all the bolt it stressed the remaining ones and stressed the frame of the vehicle and tore the frame rails on both sides of the car. This caused $3,493.87 in damages to my car. Uhaul in Springfield even agreed that it was installed incorrectly and referred me to their 'neutral third party' insurance company. Believe me, they are not neutral. After nearly a month of dealing with Republic Western and them stalling me, they decided that they were not liable for any of the damages. No explanation of why, just that they weren't paying and hung up. I have written statement from body shops stating that the bolt weren't installed originally and they ignored even those statements. Its obvious that the bolts were never installed because the threads are rusty and there is no ring around the holes on the hitch where the bolts and washers would have been. Mr. T***** has become increasingly unresponsive during this ordeal, even to the point where I have had to contact his superiors to accomplish anything. They finally sent an adjuster to look at the damages on my car and even he was a contactor for Uhaul & RepWest. The bottom line is that these companies have a partnership that allows to to refuse to pay any claim that may come their way. Even with a plethora of written statements, estimates of damage, and an original certificate or warrenty that was paid for they still refuse to make any settlement offer to me. I am filing this statement with as many sources as possible to try to get a response from Uhaul & RepWest to do the right thing.
