Get Jazzed Beauty Stores Fraudulent Scam Internet |
22nd of Sep, 2011 by User524744 |
I am not a newcomer to online shopping. I have been making purchases for a number of years and this is the first time I have ever been apparently swindled. Get Jazzed Beauty Stores looked like a legitimate website. I ordered several bottles of haircolor, which I charged to my Master Card on July 16, 2011. I immediately received an order confirmaion with a confirmation number. When I had not received my order by the first of August, I sent a request for tracking as instructed on the website. I received an immediate adknowledgement saying that I would receive the information I requested within 24 to 72 hours. However, I received nothing. I repeated this request at the end of August with the same results — an acknowledgement but no actual information about my order. When I received my credit card statement, I learned that Get Jazzed, or whoever is running this scam, ran the charge through on my account on July 28, 2011. On September 10th, I went back to the Get Jazzed website and sent an email to their customer service email address explaining my previous attempts to contact them and demanding that they notify me immediately as to the status of my order. I also informed them that if I did not receive an immediate reply I would institute any and all applicable proceedings starting with my credit card company. Since the company lists their city and state headquarters as Las Begaqs, NV, I also did a directory search at that time but found no listing. I have reported the incident to my credit card company in writing as a disputed charge with all accompanying documentation — copies of emails, invoice, order acknowledgement, etc. As soon as they notify me as to the results of their investigation I intend to pursue this matter with the Consumer Protection Agency, Attorney General, Federal Communications Commission and any other applicable government/ law enforcement agency. In reading the fine print of the Get Jazzed Beauty Store Terms & Conditions, it is now obvious to me that this is indeed a scam. Had I read that fine print more closely at the time and realized that they (1) conduct no business by phone, (2) do not provide a working phone number to connect directly with the company, and (3) claim that any dispute before an order is received will result in referral to a collection agency, fine and possible lawsuit, I would never have ordered anything from them in the first place. However, I did order, and now my main goal is to do everything possible to make sure this dishonest, deceitful company legally off the internet and shutdown for good. I have no reason not to believe these people are committing deliberate fraud. They should pay the price for their crimes if at all possible. I would encourage the rest of you to do the same. The more complaints these agencies receive, the better chance we have of shutting these criminals down for good. |
