Rec Warehouse Patrick Carey Rec Warehouse-worst company I have ever dealt with Allen , Texas |

I bought over $10,000 worth of products from REC warehouse, including an extended factory warranty, that they sold me when they knew they were leaving the state of Texas. I have called for warranty service and cannot get anyone to return my calls. I was also sold a set of Teak furniture, that after 6 weeks in my yard , completely dried out and the cushions(maroon) faded to a dull gray. I sent before/after pictures to the company and they agreed to replace the furniture with something else of my choice. While we were going through this process, they auctioned off their store in Allen, Texas and left the state. I was able to get them to send me replacement chairs made of aluminum, but the matching cushions were never sent and I was told repeatedly that they were being sent by UPS. Patrick Carey(REC's area manager) lied to me repeatedly about these cushions and now refuses to return my calls and make this right. I am 50 years old and own many large companies in the US that are well respected and do millions of $$ in sales every year. I deal with people and companies from all corners of the world, and never in my 25 years have I dealt with a less professional operation. They do not stand behind what they sell, they have absolutely no idea what customer service is and they are extremely unethical and lacking in integrity in every way. We will be having our company legal department begin proceedings against these characters. My advice, do not ever buy anything from them. As you can see on this and many other complaint boards on the Internet, they cannot be trusted. Take your hard earned dollars and go shop with a reputable company that understands the needs of the consumer and is willing to stand behind what they sell. If you don't take this advice, then caveat emptor(buyer beware). |
