Should have checked this site first as Pueblo Bonito have many negative stories as do many other websites. I have previously purchased a time share and it was as advertised. Our experience with Pueblo Bonito has been anything but. We were told that the resort would buy back our week every October for a guaranteed amount due to the demand they had and the relationships they had with 3rd party groups like Expedia and Travleocity- after more than 20+ phone calls that went unreturned, I finally tracked down our sales rep Ruben Vargas who again told me yes no problem and to call a group called Suite Get Aways, I then contacted them only to find out that they would "try" and find a renter for our unit and best case is it would rent for $200-300/night, not the $1150/night Ruben told us they would guarantee each year. This was the first issue- then to find out that the $399/week "member" price we would pay for the presidential suite at the hotel anytime we wanted to stay there is not really $399/week- it is about $250/night for a basic room subject to availability and again not available "exclusively" to Monte Cristo Owners as I was told it would be. Lastly but not least is the issue of all the resort credit and free weeks in vouchers that all of a sudden they are saying they have no idea what I am talking about. Bottom line is they are a bunch of liars who will say anything to get you to buy a timeshare and not back anything up that they committed to you. Getting ANYONE to return your phone calls takes an act of God- BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! |

My husband and I just purchased a Pueblo Bonito Timeshare last October 2012 when went for our anniversary. Our salesman Ian Collins guaranteed we would be able to use rental program to rent out our timeshare and make a profit. Our plan was never to stay but to rent it & use our Bonus Weeks. We have been in contact with them regarding this immediately upon our purchase. I tried to call Pueblo Bonitos customer service so many times and I cannot even get hold of our salesman. They lied, I am very upset and I'd like to do something to get this resolved. This is another forum with more complaints made on this company:
