Price Self Storage PSS Abuses its customers once they have your property in their storage facility in San Diego , California

Beware... Price Self Storage is a shady operation. I signed a contract, but just six-months later my rent was significantly increased citing "increasing operational costs." I find it hard to believe that Price Self Storage's costs unexpectantly spiraled out of control causing them to raise my rates just 6-months after agreeing on a price. Thus, I am left to conclude that Price Self Storage is taking advantage of me knowing that it would be cost prohibitive and hugely inconvenient for me to vacate their storage facility. Price Self Storage's Regional Manager, David M. Ackerschott, was less than helpful in resolving this pricing conflict. I reported Price Self Storage to the Better Business Bureau - complaint pending. Additionally, I am evaluating a class action lawsuit against Price Self Storage, so please contact me if you're interested in joining the action. If you are like me, the issue is both about the money and treating customers fairly by not taking advantage of them. My suggestion to prospective customers: stay away from this place! There are other storage facilities in the area, which costs less and treat customers better.

I agree...do not rent from this storage company! They do not have good customer service or consumer-friendly policies. They do not waive late fees even in extenuating circumstances, for example if a family member dies or for any reason you are unable to pay. They bind you into a contract for which you have no recourse for any disputes including fees. There is no corporate headquarters that provides a remedy for any disputes either. You get the run around and everyone says the same thing. This company does not care about people or anything that adversely effects them. This is not a company that anyone should do business with. They have unfair business practices and have no compassion! Do Not Rent Here!!!
