| I am writing in regards to a distiller Model PWS 5-3 which I have purchased from Water Solutions Corporation # 216, 2835 23 St. NE. in Calgary, AB on August 07/2010. After I had sterilized it in late December 2010, it started overflowing. When I carried the unit, I had accidentally dropped the top tank which made a dent on the distiller. Beginning of January 2011, I had taken it to the store where I had bought it in order to fix the problem (overflow.) When I told them that I had dropped it which had nothing to do with the problem, they did not believe that the distiller was overflowing and they were giving me a hard time; finding a pretext not to fix the product. I had left it 2 weeks at their store and when I had brought it home, I had realized that the problem was not resolved, so I had to take it back to the store again for the second time. When I brought it back from the store, I had noticed that the distiller was not producing half the amount of water it should have been making (5 gallons per day.) Instead of fixing the problem, they had just adjusted the switch to make the unit produce less water so that it would not overflow. The week of April 18, the distiller stopped drawing water completely from the tap into the top tank. Their store was closed on the week-end of Good Friday, so I had to wait until April 30/2011 to take the distiller again for the third time to get fixed. When I brought it home (May 07/2011) I still had the same problem which the unit did not draw water from the tap. I called them on May 9, 2011 to inform them of the problem and they told me that I was doing something wrong. I had requested that they send a technician home to verify why the unit would not operate and they told me that they would charge me a fee for it which I refuse to pay. I paid $1649.00 for the unit and it started giving me problems 4 months after the purchase. For all the 4 times that I had taken the unit back to their store, they would not produce an invoice saying what work they performed on the distiller. The only invoice I have from them is the one from April 14/2011 which I had to continually ask them to provide to me. The managers have no courtesy and kept accusing me of doing something wrong with the unit which is untrue. I vehemently believe that their service unquestionably leaves to be desired and I would never recommend their business to anyone. I have been ripped off by this business that does not stand by their product as they have done nothing to fix the problem and I have a defective product that does not work. |
