Preferred Guest Resorts
Preferred Guest Resorts Best Vacations Ever told me would get all info in a few days and maybe able to use within month because I was going to be in
25th of Jan, 2011 by
I answered a radio ad regarding a way to loose weigh twith free product if number was called in certain time frame. Didn't want product, but was asked if would be interested in info on vacations. I answered yes and was put in contact with this company Preferrd Guest Resorts. They sell time shares all over the world.

There was a small pitch and when I said no the salesman started telling me if I just went to the 60 to 90 min. presentation I could get free or discountedcertificate for vacation things in select areas. I would have to paya fee for these things, but it was still cheaper. No mention was ever made that you had to sit througha presentation for each paid item.

I paid almost $1,000 for all of the things I got. Received 2 emails telling me about my puchases and responsibilities, which is when I found out about having to sit through so many presentations. I was sent no info on the states these were in, although I did know a few, or about the hotels available to stay in when it was time to use them or the car rental company they used. I called one evening and the man answering was rude and put me to an extention that had an answering machine. I left a message and never heard a word back. I am now in Flordia for 6 weeks and could use these things and have nothing. I am in my 60's and just recently lost my husband. I felt this would be a good chance for me to get out and socialize again, but I guess I am too trusting.

I am really not sure what to think, I just googled the website listed on the info pack they sent me and I see all of these BEWARE OF SCAM WARNINGS??? Oh boy, I am so very worried. I was just about to book the holiday package to Florida, Daytona Beach, Orlando, Bahamas, including Disney World tickets, car hire, etc etc. This company contacted me when I receiving treatment for multiple Brain Tumors and told me they knew I was having a hard time and that is why I was put in some competition. Apparently I was the GRAND PRIZE WINNER, !! It took them more than 90mins to convince me this was legit, but eventually I believed it to be true.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME IF I BOOK THIS TRIP AM I GOING TO ACTUALLY RECIEVE WHAT THE PAPERWORK STATES.??? I am still recovering from almost 12months of Chemo & Radiation Therapy and could not cope with filthy accommodation Or EXCESSIVE EXTRA EXPENSES. I just need a break and really don't care if I have to spend 90mins listening to some sales pitch, PLEASE I NEED SOME STRAIGHT FORWARD ADVISE FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE TAKEN THE TRIP

Lagunasuites.com-my husband had just supposably won on a radio talkshow n they must have been pretty convincing cause he gave them our credit card info. He called from work n asked me to look it up online. They called me a few times n didnt even know how to speak english.only spanish.i called them back n asked them a few questions about their offers n i expressed that i think they are scamming people.the man was very rude n even cursed back at me.lol. I immediatly called my husband back to let him know that je was most likely scammed. Now as soon as he gets home from work today he will contact our credit card n have the transactions stopped. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!! DONT EVEN RISK IT/WASTE YOUR TIME!!

I received a message that was sayng that I am the 1 milion visitor and I won a 3000 $ holiday. I called them and I listned to them 30 min, then I saw I must pay $898. I asked why did I won this prize, becouse I did not participated to any lotery. She begun tho explain me in a ambigouous way, I did not understud, and then she hang up, saing that she would better speak with someone else, becouse I do not understend. After that I googled it and I saw that I am not the only one who knew them.
It happens, becouse nobody pays time to let the authorities to know.

I was offered a discount of $3000 on a package to Orlando, Daytona, Bahamas and Costa Rica,
it looked a good offer, everyone was really nice (i'm talking about the PGR vacations www.bestvacationsever.com) but of my 2 cards they could just acept one, they acepted my
british card and said to have made a payment of $250 that would have been around £150 but
so i'd have to pay an extra $648, well after that i checked my internet banking and comes out i've
only been charged what i had in that card, that wasn't enough, just £66. it looked weird to me,
specially after i saw reviews about them, saying it was just scam.
But after that we were told to have on a quimiotherapy treatment, so i called to kindly ask for a refund
(specially having in mind that it shouldn't be such a big deal, because it's not such a big amount)
well i was treated rudely and told they would give me a delay of payment (i' m still supposed to pay the rest of the money) and traveling of 2 years and a half from now. i said it was kind but we weren't in the
mood of thinking about vacations, we just wanted our money back, well very rudely again they said it was not possible because of their policy. And when nicely confronted saying it'd be a really bad feedback,
they just said "my apologies" not only not even in a polite way but also didn't hear sincere. =(

Best Vacations Ever is a SCAM!!! I was mislead and told that I could stay at any one of the locations. I was promised I could stay at Bahama Bay Hotel as part of my package. I was not informed that there would be an UPGRADE FEE for the smallest room there. Their upgrade fee is MORE that what I am able to get on my own. There is NO DISCOUNT. Don't be fooled and send them any money. You will just be throwing it away. You can do better on your own without the hassle of being put on hold for 45 minutes. Please, please, read the fine print (assuming you get your package in a timely manner). When you call to complain that what the salesman told you was not true, they refer you to the fine print on the back of your introduction letter. This is a total scam - don't do it!!

i just won this holiday by being the 1 millionth visitor to ebay. i rang the number which i was then told was in usa and apparantly free, i have yet to be able to confirm that !. about 45 mins on phone being promised ritz/hilton style acomodation, 6 nights in orlando, then 4 nights Daytona beach, then 4 nights barbados then on to mexico and costa rica. promised all sorts of meals and being met at airport and free car hire. This all seems too good to be true, but like an idiot have given them my card detailsOff to bank in morning to stop it. I did tell him he wouldnt get anything now, he said i had 2 weeks to pay $125. But if i cancel card in morning he cant do that! I thought i would just google it and see if it was a scam and obviously it is ! Please anyone else do not get scammed. Take heed and check them out.

Just retuned back from my 4 Day 3 Nights Orlando vacation and 3 Days 2 Nights in Daytona Beach the Rooms they put us in was absolutely disgusting. This is a Marketing company trying to get cash strapped families to buy time share and vacation clubs. After you pay they don't care, horrific customer service who will try and get you to buy more vacations with the time share presentation.. Very aggressive tactics during the presentation. Do Not, I repeat do not buy these vacations... It is more trouble than its worth... Save up and go the traditional route for your family vacations...

im going to go ahead and take the trip since $398 dollars is not a life investment. so far all ive read is people bitchin about cancellation. if you did not want it you shouldnt have greed gotten the best of you in the first place. obviously most people on here have never taken a holiday. they try to sell you time share everywhere. why are we so surprised.

nothing in life is free, get real and grow up.

Like the people above, I was told on a website that I had won a prize. I phoned a number in Australia (from New Zealand) and was persuaded by high pressure selling to give them my card number, and part with US$1200.

That was nearly a year ago and I was thinking about making the bookings for the New Year and like Miss Trade I have found all these scam warnings, which didn't seem to be around when I originally agreed to the package.

Has anybody had a successful holiday with these people. I will be keen to hear any positive or negative comments

I have also been scammed ... They gave me holidays for 498$ and took payment from me on 07th Sep 2012..on phone as Till then I have not got any voucher or parcel which could give me the details on how to book the resort.
Can I go to court to sue these people. If we all can hire a lawyer and file a court case against these people we will definitely get our money back... and can sue them for harassment and felony too. I have the statement in my bank account the day it was billed

If anyone of u is a lawyer it is also a good opportunity for u to make some money from this case. I hope u can help us all. There are a lot of people who have been duped off their hard earned money.
Can mail me if someone can help me out to get my money back or atleast to get the vacation as I do not have any contact no. of the resort on how to book my vacation

First of all.i want to thank dr ikuku for what he has done for me, At first i taught dr ikuku was a scam, i need to cast 2spell,
1)To bring back my lover back who left me for 4years
2)Get back my Job that i was sacked for 5years
This where the 2spell i wanted to cast, When i came in contact with dr ikuku i told him about my problem and he told me that all this will be done with 48hours, That i should forget my past experience and that he will bring back happiness to my life, Dr ikuku just spoke to me as a father i was so happy, And i decided to hope on dr ikuku and he told him that everything will be as before, Truly when the 48hours was completed, Exactly what dr ikuku said came to past, At first i got a call from my director that i should come and resume work by monday and that they will pay all my 4years salary in full, After that the next call i got was from my lover who left me for 5years, He called me i was so happy and don't even know what to say, But i give all thanks to this great and trustworthy man dr ikuku, Please Dr ikuku is a man i trust and i can swear with my life that he is really here is personal contact [email protected] or cell number +2348034458597

Was on 'Silent Witness' website, then up came that I was winner of wonderful holiday trip - phoned number 02030514044, spoke with very well-mannered, coherent, plausible guy, told about $3898 holiday in Orlando, Daytona etc, lots of attractions, he gave name as Marshall Flinn - was told company was Preferred Guest Resorts, talked for quite a while, don't know why I went along with it for so long, gave my phone number and email address but when it became clear I was being asked for bank card details said 'very clever' and cut off. Looked up this website afterwards as this was obviously a scam, a very clever and convincing one in the manner of its presentation and those presenting it (another guy came on too, didn't get name). I am 100% certain this was a scam. As usual the rule is - never give out personal details over the phone unless absolutely sure this is genuine (I already gave out too much, but I don't think anything usable). And specifically remember: banks never ask for details; and a landline disconnected from your end but not the other when you dial it gets back to same destination -- always phone from a different phone. Otherwise you think you are through to eg bank or police. These scams are a real pain. I was caught up in the process, interested somehow, wasn't after a holiday anyway! Berlinovar.

I also 'won' the $3000 trip - that costs you $989. The guy I spoke to was very smooth & convincing, however when I said I didn't want to pay $900 without talking to my husband first, he passed me on to someone else to 'help'. This person then abused & bullied me. I don't know why he thought this was the way to convince me. Perhaps these tactics have worked on other people, however, his attitude only convinced me not to buy 'my prize'.
I quickly googled 'preferred guest resorts scam' and found this site & comments. I'm glad I trusted my instincts. Next time I will google before I call.
People - The only time you ever 'win' anything is if you get it for free! If you have to hand over money or personal details then it is a scam.
I rang from Australia using a Sydney number - so I hope the long distance call COST THEM!

oh may, I'm not the only one that got scammed. I opened up the pop up it said i won a $3000us shopping spree. when i rang they were so lovely and happy lots of noise really busy. I got pass to 4 different people.
I got done at 5.30am to find it wasn't a shopping spree it was a discount to accomad. It was for 4 people we have more and i told them, i thought it was for the whole family, i was on the phone for an hour an a hlf to two hours. the kids waking up and see this first was told had won next person said it was a discount. Had to tell kids i got scammed... normally don't touch these pop up's, just did it again and relise deleted comp to win a phone. was told trip was for orlando, daytona, bahama's, and costa rica. For someone that's never been on a plane this was a dream for our family then to realise it would cost a lot for plane tickets, taxes ect...
I was lucky my visa was not set up... I told them i had no money on the card and was told no probs, and they approved me for $152nz. ANYONE DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM HANG UP THE PHONE ...
I tried ring the local nz number and it ring for 2mins and cut off. I realised a scam when the lady didn't ring back the next day when org. BEWARE OF POP UPS DON'T EVEN IN A BAD WAY IT'S NOT GOING TO HELP IT WILL MAKE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY STRESS MORE, DON'T GIVE DIRTBAGS THE TIME AND STRESS WHICH IS NOT NEEDED...
