Preferred Guest Resorts Best Vacations Ever told me would get all info in a few days and maybe able to use within month because I was going to be in
25th of Jan, 2011 by
I answered a radio ad regarding a way to loose weigh twith free product if number was called in certain time frame. Didn't want product, but was asked if would be interested in info on vacations. I answered yes and was put in contact with this company Preferrd Guest Resorts. They sell time shares all over the world.

There was a small pitch and when I said no the salesman started telling me if I just went to the 60 to 90 min. presentation I could get free or discountedcertificate for vacation things in select areas. I would have to paya fee for these things, but it was still cheaper. No mention was ever made that you had to sit througha presentation for each paid item.

I paid almost $1,000 for all of the things I got. Received 2 emails telling me about my puchases and responsibilities, which is when I found out about having to sit through so many presentations. I was sent no info on the states these were in, although I did know a few, or about the hotels available to stay in when it was time to use them or the car rental company they used. I called one evening and the man answering was rude and put me to an extention that had an answering machine. I left a message and never heard a word back. I am now in Flordia for 6 weeks and could use these things and have nothing. I am in my 60's and just recently lost my husband. I felt this would be a good chance for me to get out and socialize again, but I guess I am too trusting.

I I responded to an internet posting telling me I had won a fantastic FREE holiday, courtesy of Preferred Guest Resorts. The female on the phone was gushing, insincere and sickening to listen to in her 'delight at my good fortune'. She held me on the phone for a considerable length of time and then transferred me to an equally 'enthusiastic' man. He proceeded to guide me through the process by which I could avail of my prize - now not EXACTLY free, but mine for the bargain price (?) of nearly $900! When it became clear to him that I had no intention of giving him my credit card details, he became first bullying and then extremely aggressive. He put the phone down on me when I (quite reasonably) pointed out that he had an 'unfortunate manner'!
What sort of world do we inhabit that both produces such appalling people and actually allows them to get away their underhand scams?
The SCUM who operate these nefarious false promotions are, of course, lower life forms than the majority of us, who are decent and have a moral backbone. They will undoubtedly eventually suffer the consequences of their vile activities!

I JUST CALLED BEST VACATIONS EVER RESERVATIONS LINE TO BOOK MY TRIP I PURCASHED IN DEC OF LAST YEAR. THE GUY ON THE OTHER END( CUSTOMER SERVICE) WAS VERY COLD AND DISTANT. HE ASKED WAS I MARRIED, WHICH I QUICKLY TOLD HIM "NO, BUT I DO HAVE A BOYFRIEND THAT I HAVE LIVED WITH FOR 5 YEARS. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THAT POINT INFORMED ME THAT I WOULD HAVE TO BE MARRIED (CERTIFICATES, ID'S, BANK STATEMENTS ETC)WOULD HAVE TO BE PRESENTED, AND I WAS NOT QUALIFIED FOR EITHER VACATION (NAPA VALLEY, OR LAS VEGAS). NOW LET ME WARN ANYONE WHO ARE PURCHASING A PRODUCT FROM TV AND ARE THEN ASKED NICELY...WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IN A GREAT VACATION DEAL? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, ALL PEOPLE OF THE WORLD, DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. I HAVE RECENTLY LEARNED THAT NOT ONLY IS THIS VACATION DEAL A SCAM, THEY DONT TELL YOU THAT THIS IS A PROMOTION TO SALE YOU A VACATION TIME SHARE. SO PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE ASSHOLES. THEY JUST TRIED TO CALL ME AGAIN THE OTHER DAY AND INFORMED ME THAT THEY WOULD EXTEND MY TIME FRAME IN WHICH I COULD TAKE A TRIP, BUT ALSO THEY WOULD THROW IN A ALL INCLUSIVE COSTA RICA TRIP FOR TWO FOR THE LOW LOW PRICE OF 199.00. THEY TRIED TO KEEP ME ON THE PHONE UNTIL I SAID YES, BUT FORTUNATELY I DIDNT FALL FOR THAT BS AGAIN!!! SO ANYONE THAT READS THIS IF THEY CALL YOU TRYING TO SELL YOU A VACATION DEAL THAT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE...

My mum just won the $3000 dollar holiday to Florida and barbados etc! She paid £100 over the phone. What should i do?? This is so bad. I phoned them up today, the lady that answered said 'please call back in a few hours to talk to the lady in this area'. I really believed this until i have just read all of this. I mum is finding it hard to survive as it is, and just thought she would treat her family to a lovely holiday... Any advise?

I WON ALSO THE $3889 PACKAGE AND PAID $998 OVER THE PHONE WITH MY CREDIT CARD, WHICH HAS SINCE BEEN BLOCKED FROM FURTHER USE. I HAVE ASKED FOR A CANCELLATION AND FULL REFUND AND DID RECIEVE AN EMAIL ADVISING THAT I WOULD RECIEVE THAT AMOUNT WITHIN 10 DAYS. MY BANK ARE GOING TO BE INVESTIGATING VIA THE SERIOUS FRAUD SQUAD IF THE REFUND IS NOT RECIEVED WITHIN THIS TIME. BEST EVER VACATIONS WERE VERY SHONKY TO DEAL WITH AND I WAS CONTINUOUSLY PASSED ON TO SOME ONE ELSE OVER THE PHONE TO CONTINUE THE PROCESS. THE WEIRDEST PART WAS THE VOICE RECOGNITION TO SIGN FOR THE CREDIT CARD. I FEEL SO NAIVE NOW AND JUST HOPE AND PRAY THAT I RECIEVE THE REFUND. I LIVE IN AUSTRALIA AND IT SOUNDED SO GOOD TO GO FOR A VACATION WITH MY LITTLE GIRLS TO ALL THESE BEAUTIFUL DESTINATIONS, I JUST GOT SUCKED IN .

Just the other day we had purchased an item off the TV for a birthday gift when offered a dream trip to Disney world 3 days 2 nights and then another trip on a cruise and and addtl trip of my choice. When asked is it possible to get info in regards to the hotels they use as part of this package to just look them up and see where my kids and family would be staying the representative said he has no idea the welcome center only knows that. When asked for welcome center information he said they would not be able to help me. Then transfered me to quality and no one answered the phone. Called back 2 times and finally got a very nice lady who gave me all the info i needed. The man who answered the phone with a deep accent from india somewhere he needs to be fired. I will only call and talk with Employee Rajeena because she was the best. Thanks Rajeena for proving your company may actually be legit.

When calling the company ask to speak with Rajeena she will get your vacation set up and you will not have to deal with ignorance and stupidity. I believe she needs a raise. :) I feel better know that she has given me the info I was looking for and I am familiar with two of the hotels that were listed, so i am happy now.

I had to cancel my booking too. It was done rather smoothly, took ½ hour, and I need to discuss with 3-4 person but they were friendly and understood my point. Now waiting to get my refund, which I believe will come in couple of days. I will comment on this web site. t - Finland

When after 3 sales persons and 20 minutes last night, I still did not make up my mind to go for their SUPER DEAL, the last sales manager starting to insult me, calling me names. Needless to say, how that went quickly at the end. Then they hung up on me.

I was then reminded by a friend that when he went on one of their sales presentations at Las Vegas, at the end of it they used very high pressure tactic to force him buy into their timeshare. He did not want to and got treated badly.

Just returned from a Best Vacations ever trip to Florida. I knew I would have to attend a session to listen about purchasing a time share. This turned out to be the biggest scam I have ever seen. When I arrived I was put up in a hotel, Country Inn and Suites. It was supposed to be a handicapped room. It was so small that a handicapped person had problems getting around by themselves much less 3 people. If there had been 4 people which was allowed, it would have been much worse. When I checked in the nice staff, they were very nice, told me that she had just got the room set up for us. They knew that 3 people were coming, but they only had towels and washclothes for 2. They did provide the extra set when I went back down. But upon reading there booklet, it said we would have to pay $15 a day for clean towels and washclothes and an additional $15 a day for maid service. This was a hotel, not a resort. I was also told I would only have to attend one sales session. The saleman talked about the resort and when we complained about what we had received at the hotel, he said that Best Vacations Ever lies to the customers just to get them to accept the sales pitch agreeing it was a scam. But they bring us lots of business so we continue to use them At the end of the session, they said they would give us $50 to go to a question and answer session about the sales session, 30 min. at the most. We did, it was nothing more than a condemnation of Best Vacations Ever, which we agreed, and another sales pitch for a different product. Needless to say, we did not buy! They had provided 4 days 3 nights at this hotel and 4 days 3nights in Daytona Beach. He also read the small print which I did not, so be sure to read the small print, which stated that we would have to hear another sales pitch in Daytona. The guy that sold me this scam also said I would get a $40 meal certificate which I did not receive. I have his name but I will not give it out. I got back to the hotel in Daytona, which was nice enough, a refurbished Holiday Inn Resort which is a hotel not a true resort and wrote an email to the guy who contaced me and was to be my representative for Best Vacations Ever, about the poor quality of everything I had been sold. I have never heard back from him and that is why I am writing about this scam. Be careful about what you sign up for when you get a call from them. WC, in PA
