| Well tom fendick of pondella auto mall sold me two 02 chevy impala's. mine is an Ls and the other a base model for my wife. the first one i bought is the ls and have made payments on it and was on time and paid alittle extra in each payment. both of these cars were purchased in 08 by the way. my wife's car we paid by money order of 6,250 tax,tag,title out the door. we received the title within the month that we bought it, and a few days latter the dealer calls saying there's been a mistake that we need to bring the title back to them because we still owe $900 for taxes. we tell them NO and hang up. they keep calling and saying there going to repo my wife's car. so they finally do repo my wife's car and being that we have the title we got it back thanks to the sheriffs office.no charges were filled on the repo driver or tom for illegal repo. keep in mind im still making payments on my Ls on time and alittle extra. so tom decides he's going to REPO my Ls to get me to pay the $900 dollars he thinks we owe on my wife's car.he denied my payment and two days latter sends a repo guy to get my car. when doing so the repo company he used was willbur manings of maning's towing who was not lic,or bonded at the time in the state of florida and took the car knowing they werent lic well we found the car at wilburs house and took pics of it sitting there so tom decided to drive it around bumping my system i had in it from sound america we found it again at tom's house and again we took pics of it. florida law says any repo car must be on a secure lot and inventoried. well it wasn't and tom stole $1,700 worth of system out of my car. all legal according to him because he is a lawyer from ny. wich by the way isnt true he isnt a lawyer nor has he passed any bar exam in any state , so we call again and again trying to get my car back and even send certified mail saying we want the car back and how much do we have to pay. after almost a month he says we can get the car back but we have to pay it off in cash so we do and was charges for storage fee's and even over charged for the car its self by like $1,200 or more the car at the time was being sold for 8,000 and some change by contract. so we receive the car pop the trunk and ask tom were is the system he with a straight face says what system. so long story short he sue's us in court for the $900 dollars brings false documents forged of corse and we win the case because we have the title. first ever to win against pondella auto because he takes almost everyone to court about there repo'd cars and trucks. its now 2011 and i have yet to get my title for my car even after making calls to them about it . florida law says any dealership has 30 days after any car or truck is paid for to get the title. do not buy from this dealership ever....i have to take Tom fendick to court to get my stuff back or money for the stuff he stole from me in civil county court because the damages go way over the limit of civil court. so i will update next year on the way its going. |
