I so wish I had not been taken in by the free equipment install today only line. So much was left unsaid by the YOUNG man that came to the door. Needless to say after paying to much, to have had no luck with getting the system to work properly for more than a couple of days. The first time they said a sensor was bad, the second time the box just keep talking about lights. Lights on lights off. No one could tell me what it was doing, just that it stopped. This morning early my daughter came running into my room saying the alarm was going off. We didn't hear it in our room! The machine said the back door had been tampered with. And to top it all off no one called from the so called monitoring place. I was unable to get the back door to re-arm. So I called and they said sorry they were not open for 30 more minutes and to bypass that door and call back. Are the kidding! We have only had this system for a little over a week. This is so wrong. Please people do you homework, nothing is worth this one time only offer opportunity especially the security of your family. Frustrated! Plano, TX |

Platinum Protection is VERY shady. I would think if it were a legit business they would be renting commercial space for an office instead of an apartment in Allen, Texas. They blew into town a couple of months ago from Utah, California and Montanna to do 'door to door' sales offering 'free' security systems, but nothing is really ever for free, right? Hopefully, they will be gone in a few weeks since they are college kids and will need to get back to school. Next summer they'll be somewhere else scamming others. They are renting in my apartment complex which is why I know this. You can also check them out on youtube...good and bad videos. |
