Pinnacle Tax Advisors www.pinnacletaxadvisors.com This Company Ripped ME OFF! Irvine California |

I contacted Pinnacle Tax Advisors formerly known as Tax Network of America to resolve my tax debt. Instead of helping me resolve my debt it has increased. I have spoke with rep on numerous occasions about their lack of communication. I was never notified when my assigned CPA was no longer working on my account. I explained how I was a Licensed Nurse and my ability to work would be in jeopardy if my IL and MO tax debt was not considered priority. IL Dept. of Rev. began to garnish my check in Nov. 2011. In Oct. of 2012 I received a letter threatening to suspend my nursing license. I had to make payment arrangements of 154.00 a month because I defaulted on my account under their watch.I had to take a 12 month payment plan instead of a 24 month plan. The IRS sent me letters with the intent to levy due to the lack of communication on their behalf. I made arrangements with the IRS who stated the last time they were contacted by the company was several months ago. I have supporting documentation for the above complaints. After several phone calls and consistant complaints to rep nothing has improved. I have left messages with the owner and nothing has been accomplished. IL Dept. turned my account over to a collection agency and this company still has POA over all my accounts. I was told this tax matter could be resolved within months instead its been 2 years. They have not fulfilled the contract obligations and I feel I have been scammed. This company appears to have also taken over Tax Network of America (TNA), previously of Mission Viejo. I was able to speak to a ex-employee of theres and confirm that TNA's marketing consisted of robo-calls (which are illegal) to the general public -- in which a press 1 on the phone menu will send you to a "tax resolution sales-person." A colleague of mine did an interview when we got a robocall -- the person who interviewed him sounded like he was hired two days before. Nonetheless, perhaps the company was Pinnacles from the beginning? The weblink to Tax Network of America is now gone. This looks like your typical company who creates companies and shuts them down. The group is lead by a Michael Hernandez who also owns a debt settlement company or at least did. These companies charge 17% of your total debt amount to potentially settle your debt. The catch is that they take these moneys up front. All the employees are from previous scam companies like ameripride tax group and United Law Group. If you are thinking about doing business with this company don't DO IT! There is more reputable firms out there that you can be helped by. Just be careful as 80% of all tax settlement companies are scams that came from the mortgage industry and or the debt industry. They have no soul and are only concerned with taking your money. |
