I smell a rat with this company. First you go to a timeshare presentation where they offer you a "FREE" vacation if you show up. They give you a vacation activation form for Celebrity Productions. The web address is . The certificate does state that it is $35 per person to activate. I was activating for two people. Several options are offered for your "free" vacation to include luxury accomodations in worldwide destinations, cruises, or roundtrip airfare combined with hotel stay. I decided to choose the airfare with the hotel stay. Sounded like the perfect "free" vacation. Once your vacation has been "activated" they send more forms for you to fill out and send back. This time the company that you correspond with is Passport to Travel. They want a small fee on that form but they say it's been waived for those who have paid the initial $35 per person activation fee. After two months waiting for your "activated" vacation. They send you yet another form but this time they want more money. This form has to be returned within 30 days with a $100 activation fee. This is the point at which I realize the vacation is not free and if they have the audacity to ask for more money without stipulating it from the very beginning, who knows when they will stop asking for money or when I will actually have access to this vacation. This form also states that in addition to the $100 activation fee(NON- REFUNDABLE) that if they don't receive it within 30 days then your vacation is totally null and void. To me this is to put pressure on you to act fast and send them money! So say bye bye to your original $35 per person youv'e paid if you weren't prepared to pay the additional $100. Also the form stipulates you have to pay another processing fee of $99 per person as well as any pertinent fees and taxes associated with airfare and hotel most likely to be paid before you travel. At this point I have calculated up to $370 of cost and I'm not even sure if that's where it ends. This is not free at all. As far as I'm concerned. This is a scam. The worst part is that you must check in on a Monday or a Tuesday the two most miserable days to travel anywhere for pleasure. Also it cannot be used 7 days before or after a holiday. So get ready to use up alot of leave from your job on top of probably nearly paying outright for this undesireable vacation.
