Consumer reviews and reports on scam companies, bad products and services
OneKingsLane.com scam artists, san francisco, California
13th of Nov, 2011 by User893962
I heard wonderful things about One Kings Lane, so I decided to join. They sent me daily updates about their current "sales." The prices seemed high and not sale-like, but I am no expert. I saw towels that I thought were nice, so I purchased them. Although when I paid for the items, the snippet stated I would receive the towels within the week, it turned out that they meant to say was that I would receive my items within three months, which is what customer service confirmed for me. When I said that was not the agreement and that I wanted to cancel the order, I was reminded that all sales were final. I started asking around about this formidable company and learned that they are just good scam artists. They encourage the sellers to list their items under different company names in an effort to trick the consumers into believing that there is a lot of variety. They call there postings sales, but as confided in me by one of the sellers, they actually raise prices in order to accommodate One Kings Lanes fees. This is a real lesson in letting the buyer beware.
