I have been having problems with the one price cleaners in hilltop for an extensive amount of time. They would double crease my dress pants and allow cuffs at the bottom of the pants to droop out of form after which, pressing them out of form. When I complained, they offered one piece of free dry cleaning but it continued to happen. When I would complain again, they would get very nasty and disrespectful. So I went to the head office to complain about the hilltop cleaners on 612 NEVAN RD. I spoke with a female manager MRS. WILLIAMS. She asked me did they give me any free dry cleaning? I told her no, not this time, so she offered two pieces of free dry cleaning. She asked me if I wanted her to tell the owner Mrs. Baker, I told her no, just talk to the manager. Another time, I paid to have my clothes cleaned and pressed for pick-up and when I came to get them, they were not there at the cleaners but they were left at their warehouse and I made it known to the manager and she said that she didn't think a driver would go and get them. I told her that I brought them there on time and paid to pick them up on time. She said it was nothing she could do until Monday, and it was Friday. I needed my clothes for Sunday and I didn't have anything to wear nor did they refund my money. I told Mrs. Williams she could report this to Mrs. Baker. Instead, she said to me you need to find another cleaners. I said to her that I'm not ready to find another cleaners and I'm capable of making that decision for myself. She hang-up the phone. She seemed to have behaved very unprofessionally. She dodged her responsibility to make the employees that worked beneath her supervision accountable for their actions. Giving away free cleaning won't correct the problem if they can't care for clothes and return them on schedule. Employees outside of her office gave me a number to reach Mrs. Baker, the owner, and told me that Mrs. Baker comes into the office on Tuesdays, but I was never able to catch her there at any time. I called the phone number and heard a response, "This is Mrs. Baker, leave your message". I don't think Mrs. Baker received the message and it was destroyed because she never returned my call. They didn't care about me they just wanted my money. |
