Novarista Holdings LTD False Advertising, Billed $199 when their website says you will only be billed $6.95 Nicosia, Other |

This Company located in Nicosia, Cyprus, obviously to avoid lawsuits, has slick websites that offer "FREE TRIAL" of their ACAI Surge and Colon Cleanse Diet and weightloss programs. If you sign up for the trial, you get an e-mail confirming that you will be billed only $6.95. If you check your bank statements you will see they actually bill you the full $199.00. If you are lucky enough to figure out that you have been ripped off within the THREE (3) day trial period which starts when you place the order even if you haven't received any product, they say they will refund your money within 15 days. But they also tell you that since you cancelled you won't receive any of the free trial product. This is a total RIPOFF SCAM. If you miss the 3 day deadline, then you apparently get some credit in their store for your money which contains a bunch of additional useless crap. The $199.00 is supposedly for their online weightloss website which they give you links to in the e-mail. When you go and check that out, its funny as he** to go look in the forum as you will see a bunch of disgruntled posts from people who realized they got scammed and they don't even remove this from their website. They are taking people's money at $200 a pop and probably won't refund you a dime even if you cancel in the first three days. I called my bank to dispute the charges that showed up on my credit card and they told me that I had to wait the 15 days to see if they refunded the money as they promised. I gave them the cancellation # they gave me. Be sure to get that and write down the representatives name and ID # if you are able to get through to cancel. If you run into these scam artists websites, of which there are several that I found including the following - RUN LIKE HE**!: http://colonfull.flexnjoints.com/us/trial/ http://sharkilage.com/ http://getskinnierthighs.org/ http://acaisurge.sharkilage.com/us/trial/ I happen to be an attorney and only fell for this crap because a trusted client sent me the link, saying his cousin tried this stuff and it worked. Guess I won't be receiving anything from these people, so can't really comment on the efficacy of the stuff they are hawking, but I will say that from what I have seen in dealing with them, it probably is sawdust they are giving you in those pills. Bottom line if you ever see a website promoting anything on a free trial basis always read the fine print, the terms and conditions etc. as you inevitably are signing up for repeat orders, online memberships etc. Just google the name of the company and you will see scam reports like this that should give you heads up that you are about to be scammed. Its so much easier to avoid it rather than trying to get out of it after you have been taken. I will provide my information to this website so that if enough people do get scammed and contact me I will consider initiating a class action lawsuit against these scumbags. In the meantime I will be contacting the Attorney General's office, the department of consumer affairs etc.

I have also had £127.34 taken from my account, I thought I was paying £4.95 for postage and packing. My bank are trying to sort this out for me. Please beware. I did try to cancel when I realised but the telephone provided just answered and then said please hold. I tried to call several times with no success.
I am also contacting the police to record this as a fraud case. |
|
|
Clearly a scam. I too have been "ripped off". Phone number provided only rings. Hopefully bank is able to stop any future debits but is seems that the initial scam is "school fees". |

I have unfortunately joined this unlucky bunch of people, ripped off by a company that should be named and shamed in every country in the world. I don't think this Scambag company should be allowed to advertise on the internet or anywhere else for that matter and I think people power will work if enough of us complain to the companies that advertise and create links to their website. I'm with initiating a Class action lawsuit from everyone in every country this Scambag company has ripped off! |

These are all different names/companies which are actually all the SAME. They are all part of the scam. I'm in Canada and was also promised the $2.95 and moneyback guarentee for the 'free trial". However, they charged me $7.95 per item ON MY ONLINE RECEIPT--- but actually charged my credit card $196.89 for both the acaiberry and the colon cleanse. I never received the product AND I was never charged the $7.95 x2 on my credit card---only the $196.89 x2. It's a total cash-grab scam
Also, they don't ask you to checkmark off the terms and conditions box like all reputable sites do if you don't see it or forget to check it. This way they say you agreed to the terms and cond's (which you were unaware of) that state your card will be charged the $196.89. This is how they get you!!!

This is the website to post a complaint about this scamming company. It is where the Better Business Bureau directed me to go as this company is claiming it is in Cyprus.
See bottom of these pages to get company info...

http://colonloss.pausepain.com/ca/trial/staticPage/?static=terms
Also, please note on this webpage how they DO NOT have a little sqare box to check off that you have read the Terms and Conditions (T and C) before signing up AND how it DOES NOT say you need to acknowledge the T and C (that you will be billed for asap).

I have also been ripped off. I received the free sample and was told in my email I will be charged $7.95 canadian. Today I received a statement showing $396.17. If an action lawsuit comes about, I want to be part of it. I am a senior citizen with a fixed income. I don't know how I will pay this amount. The 3 day clause in the agreement was not clear. I am totally disgusted and I hope they somehow will close down this company. |

Well it seems I am not the only numpty out there as I too fell for the "scam" and it has taken me many hours day's actually to get a real company person. Telephones were hopeless and one was actually a third part for this company "of many names" as I was phoning all over the place because my credit card statement had no connection to any one I knew. So to actually get a response from [email protected]. today was a kind of relief...As my credit card company require me to fill in a form to stop any more payments. I needed more info as to who would be part refunding me ...50%...I know, not good enough I hear you say but I am not finished with them yet until I get something back from them.
This was the last email from them ...
"You will be receiving the partial refund from both your accounts with us: Colon and Acai Surge from Sharkilage"
But I am still waiting on further info from them as to who will really pay me.
I hope this will help you and anyone else out there. |

Initiate a charge back on your credit card against them, its the ONLY way.
Say you never received any of the product/ services they offer.
Say they also misrepresentated the product you can also make a claim against them.
My wife got $400 back from them. They are very sneaky and say you agreed to being charged $199x2 for the membership but they clearly hide that in the small print on another page. Don't giveup because the CC company or bank says you agreed to their terms when you signed for the free trial so you are out of luck.
Be warned, most of their support emails and phone numbers are dead.
With enough charge backs, the bank will shut their merchant account down and hit them with hefty fees.
Hit em' HARD where it hurts and get your money back.
Don't bother with lawsuits, they're based in Cyprus so its impossible to get at them. |

Lucky Me I've just found out this the 3rd time in a year I've been scammed!!!
They to took £127 x 2 out of my bank & left me in my overdraft, They told me as a goodwill jesture they'll refund half... Well they haven't neither have i recieved the tablets!
Is there any way I can get any money back.
I only wanted 2 loose weight for my sisters wedding, well its the quickest £260 i've lost!
Think I've learnt my lesson now don't trust any thing or any one. |

I to have been scammed and have called my credit card company. They have told me I have to prove that I tried to get my money back. However there is no customer service representative and the email address for assistance does not allow an email to be sent. I would like to know how Tsubaki initiated a charge back on his credit card. |
