nhc law group National Help Center Law Group Failed to provide services paid for! Internet |

In September of this year I was referred to NHC Law Group for assistance with my impending foreclosure. I was informed that this company performed Securitization Audits of all loan docs to determine if in fact my lender could legally foreclose on my property. I spoke with Rick Donatlan at length stating that I am sure there were issues with my documents and he explained the process. I was told that NHC Law Group would conduct an audit of my documents for a fee of $3000. If they found there were legal discrepancies with my docs I would be placed into a lawsuit, either class action or individual against my lender in an effort to force good faith action to save my home. (I was not at any time interested in any other option such as short sale, deed in lieu, etc and advised Rick of the same). I was also told that if the audit came back clean, with no errors, my fee would be refunded in full. An agreement was signed and the first installment was taken from my bank account around 9/14 ($1,500) and on 10/14 the balance was paid. After speaking with Rick on 10/15, he said my audit came back with errors as he suspected it would and they would now research the next legal option which was to put me in a class action suit or file an individual suit against my lender in my state (NJ). To date I have not received a copy of my audit after numerous requests and my calls/emails are no longer being returned nor has the company responded on his behalf. I did not receive what I paid for, and am in no better position to negotiate with my lender than I was before I paid NHC Law Group for this audit. I have found numerous complaints about this company on line with clients voicing the exact same issues that I have raised all to no avail. They position themselves as a legitimate organization that seeks to assist homeowners who have been victimized by the illegal practices of the banks, but how are they any different? If people are paying for a product/service and getting nothing in return they are just as bad. My last conversation with Mr. Donatlan about five weeks ago revealed that he had made no progress on my case, and assumed that I wanted a short sale as did most of the clients who came to them, despite the fact that in every previous conversation I always said I wanted to save my home and if there was documentation to prove the banks dealt with me illegally and unfairly I wanted to know that so I could have some leverage to negotiate with. To date I am out a total of $3000 and have no audit or anything else to show for the monies paid. It is a double whammy to be victimized twice once by the bank and now by NHC Law and that is the issue currently. Is everyone going to get away with stealing the lives, dreams & homes of American citizens? I just want to save my home and for the banks to have to operate with fairness and integrity in their business practices. They took away my ability to earn income (when the housing bubble burst, I was a full time real estate broker who lost all my income as a result of their illegal acts), it's not fair that they would get to take my home too... And it is even less fair that organizations like NHC Law Group can take advantage of desperate people who only want a fair deal. Where is the honor in that? Do Not Get Sucked Into This Scam!!!!!
